This is by far my favorite restaurant in Charlotte. All of the food is incredible, and the ambience is so cool. It certainly feels like you're back in a 1920s speakeasy. Would totally recommend!

Always enjoy The Cellar at Duckworths . The food and ambiance are tough to beat . Look forward to returning soon .

Loved the drinks, food and ambiance.

My fiancé and I are in our 30s and just moved to Charlotte. We had only been at The Cellar at Duckworths 5 minutes and were already talking about coming back and bringing family or friends. Anthony was one of the best servers we’ve ever had - friendly, energetic, excited to share recommendations with us, attentive, and overall made our experience fun. Food was excellent and we already plan to go back since there was so much we wanted to try. Loved the 1920’s atmosphere and music, and the craft cocktails wowed us as well. Will definitely be frequenting this place!

Always a great experience, from food, service and ambiance.

A hidden gem in Charlotte. A must do! Ask for Darren to be your server -- his enthusiasm is infectious. The food is superb! The bar cellar houses a special collection of beer and you'll get a little tour/history of the place if you ask. The crafted cocktails are delicious. Overall, a special experience in a venue that holds a lot of history. Give it try!

Our first time here, I could have done my homework better, there was very few side dish choices, how do you have a place known for steaks not have a potato side dish other than French fries? and only Brussel sprouts as a vegetable, ugh. The steak was fantastic as was the mac and cheese, and the service was quite good, but with only one glass of wine and vegetable for 3 people, $245 was a bit much, won't be coming back anytime soon, unless it's a very special occasion, still like the choices at Ruth Chris better, overall satisfied to a degree.

Perhaps the best dining experience in uptown Charlotte

This was the weirdest experience… arrived 20 minutes early for our standard seating reservation and were offered a high top table. Sat down and took 2 minutes to realize the rickety stools were going to be incredibly uncomfortable. We asked if we could move to a standard table per our standard reservation and pointed to an open table. We’re told that wasn’t ours and if we wanted to switch tables, we would have leave the high top and wait until our reservation time… there was no one else waiting and by this time, 2 free tables. So we left… just disappointing. Love the food and drinks and the wait staff were great - the management was just odd

Food was really good. I had a steak and a cocktail. The restaurant was very dark, didn’t seem to have air conditioning. So the ambience needs work. But overall very good food.
