When I say this place is amazing! It is just that AMAZING. The food was so delicious and the customer service is outstanding. I visited this location on a date night with a gentleman for the first time. Unfortunately my date began making me feel really uncomfortable and spooked me out MAJORLY. Lidia, Blaine, Donnie, Darrel and Katie STEPPED RIGHT IN AND MADE SURE THAT I WAS NOT ONLY SAFE BUT WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO TAKE ME TO MY VEHICLE. I’ve never experience a restaurant who not only had amazing food and customer service but that genuinely cared for my safety and stopped at no cost to ensure that i wasn’t taken advantage of. This was so dear to my heart. God Bless all of you.
Had the homemade chips n dip that were really good. Ordered the bison steak with baked potato. Just before our food came out they ran out of baked potatoes and sub mashed potatoes. Steak was fantastic! We got the fresh hot cookie that melts in your mouth!
The best part of our visit was our bartender, Chris! We had originally wanted to go to another place which was closed and decided to give Ted's a try. Chris made us the BEST cocktails and was attentive, even though he had a ton of drinks to make. AND, managed to make my sister a Old Fashioned that was ALMOST as good as her husband's...which is SUPER hard and better than any restaurant in Charlotte (or world) that he has frequented. He was phenomenal and we can't wait to visit again and have him make us some more drinks! Thank you Chris!

So today was mothers day, we tried arriving at 530 without a reservation. We were told 1:30 which was fine. We hung around for about an hour and came back and sat in the breezeway waiting for our text saying table was ready, 90 minutes came and went.. almost 2 hours we went to hostess, who stated we were next in line. We sat back down, and waited another nearly 20 minutes watching people walking in and out, and tables being seated still before us. We went back to hostess, who told us that our table had been given away as they said that they had paged us multiple times.... we were 3 steps and 1 glass door away from the stand. No text ever came in after the one saying we were on the list.After all of this, we were seated promptly in a booth. Now at this point our 1 star evening bumped up. I did not catch the name of our waitress, but she was amazing. Very personal, professional, and attentive to all of our needs.Our food was amazing, I got the bison short ribs, as usual for me. They were fall off the bone tender and delicious, my wife got the meatloaf, which was amazing as well. The seasonal dessert of strawberry shortcake was very good, and the main reason for our visit. It was a little weak on the fruit compared to years past, but still tasted good.All in all, until we got seated, I give this location a dismal 1 star. And once we were seated, the waitress and food a solid 4 star even with the slight shortcoming on the dessert.
Always been told when you go to a restaurant specializing in something specific make sure to order that. For example, seafood restaurant, order fish, shrimp, lobster, etc. not necessarily steak, chicken, etc. Ordered a salad at this establishment and it was okay but nothing to write home about. Another individual ordered a beef burger and it was okay but not cooked medium like requested, instead well done. Another ordered a bison burger and it too was ordered medium and it was well done. If you are a ‘beef’ restaurant primarily, then one should know how to cook medium, pink in the center not cooked completely with no pink whatsoever. The bison was what the individual had expected it to be and enjoyed it. The chicken sandwich was fine, the bun cold, and not as good as the first time they had been there. Service was SLOW!!!! Took forever to ever just to see our server. If it hadn’t been for the hostess taking our drink order and appetizer order, not sure how long we would have had to wait. So for 2 out of the 4 that never had been there, we would not have returned based on the slowness of receiving just about anything, the slowness of the waitress, and the food be just average, I would never return. The other 2, this was there second time and their first time was much better. The onion rings were okay and not worth getting in my opinion. They took forever to get to us and I was just about to say forget them, when they arrived. Really not impressed and with so many other restaurants in the area, I would not select this one. Went on a week night and the restaurant was not packed in the least.
Great time with friends and family. Philip was an awesome server, very attentive. The food was delicious. The Bison was well cooked with great taste and their drinks well made. No matter which Ted's Montana Grill we go to, they never disappoint.
Decent. Nice selection of wines. It took awhile before we received a greeting after being seated. Food was okay, would have liked a little more variety. Nice atmosphere and made for a really nice date night though. Moody and nice inside. Loved the pickles.
