This was my 2nd trip to this spot. The food is decent, though a bit pricey.I got 6 chicken wings, crunchy noodles, and chicken fried rice and it was $18.00. The food was okay...it's fast food so not expecting a lot. I have several issues....they didn't give me a single napkin. How do you hand someone food, especially chicken wings, and not include a single napkin? I just gave you $18 and you didn't give me a single napkin? Unacceptable. I ordered rice....not soup....and they gave me a SPOON to eat with. I don't know about any other cultures but in America, we use forks for 'dry food'...we only use spoons for liquid foods...unless of course, you are a child and learning how to use utensils. And finally the noodles....they were so greasy, I couldn't eat them. Overall on today, since the food wasn't terrible, I give them a 3.
The food here is top notch. Pork was saucy and crispy and flavorful, egg roll was a beautiful golden brown, fried was great. Awesome spot for lunch.
A good menu of largely American-Chinese fare.Everything seems to be made with fresh ingredients, which is miles above similar places. Very affordable and quick, and the people are friendly and attentive. The Hot and Sour soup could use a little more hot and a little less sour, but that's just my personal taste.
We've been going here for years and the food is always good. I appreciate that it's a family owned restaurant. They're always good about getting the order correct (and repeating it back to confirm!) I usually get the sesame tofu or mixed veggies with tofu, but I've tried their shrimp dishes as well and they're good. I also like the crab rangoon and veggie dumplings!
Courteous service and delicious as always. Took my son's fiancé to a girl's night chit chat and she ordered the mild chicken and broccoli, she loved it. Customers for over 15 years! The couple who own this Myers Park hotshot are the best.
Don’t know where to begin! This place is amazing. I always get the crispy scallion chicken (mild) and my fiancé gets the honey walnut chicken. It’s enough to last us several days! It’s never taken over 15 min to prepare our food and it’s been perfect every single time we’ve ordered. This is a go to spot for us!!
Consistently excellent and my family’s go-to for Chinese food every time. Nothing too fancy, but very fresh ingredients expertly prepared. No MSG. Speedy preparation and haven’t made a single mistake in the order over the last 2 years.
I have to say first if your looking quick service this is the place. I always order my food ahead of time even if it’s my first time trying something from here usually never can go wrong. I love there fried rice the shrimp aren’t so small like other places. I always love there sesame chicken which was something new I tried this time. They also always have great lunch specials going on which comes with protein, rice and a egg roll. I definitely recommend this location. If you go and don’t see cars don’t worry most people are picking up there food and heading home.
I had a great experience at Taipei Express. The staff is always so friendly. There was a very rude customer in the restaurant that had all kinds of special requests for duck sauce and chopsticks. The staff courteously fulfilled each of his requests in a cheerful manner. The guy leaves the store and comes back in and stated they were "making fun" of him which was completely not true. He said he was going to leave a negative Google review because of it. So if there's any negative reviews this evening, it was from this guy that was just looking for a fight to pick and a reason to leave a negative review. This was the kind of guy that gets off to leaving negative reviews. I never leave reviews anywhere but this guy wanting to bring down the hard workers at Taipei Express inspired me to leave one today. Keep doing what you're doing. You will always be my go-to for carry-out Chinese food.
I have never had soggy Sesame Chicken until I ate here (try it if you don’t believe me). The whole Experience was Horrible. Food was bland and soggy with no flavor. Also, rule of thumb, you don’t laugh and talk about your customers in their face.. I definitely wouldn’t trust them making my food.
