Finally a place with legit Belgian Waffles! Service is friendly and fast. The end product is melt in your mount. Super convenient location in 7th street market. The strawberry Nutella was a favorite with our group.
Their Liege waffles are so yummy! The staff were so nice and and helped me choose what to order. I ended up ordering the cinnamon sugar waffle with bananas and cookie butter drizzle. The waffle is caramelized and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Would recommend!

Stopped by Sweet Crunch today and was beyond impressed. I've never had anything like a Liege waffle before but it was such a cool experience, all the way down to seeing it be made. It may seem like just a waffle but until you try it you'll never know what you're missing out on! Melissa and the gentleman she was with were very welcoming and friendly after I told them I had just moved to the area. Highly recommend and will be back!
I love liege waffles, but they aren't easy to find in Charlotte. I know of two other places to find them, so I was excited when this spot opened. Obviously I had to get them while at the Market at 7th St.I decided to get a BYOWaffle with a Cinnamon-Sugar Base, Strawberries, Whipped Cream, Marshmallow, Icing, and Caramel Sauce.This was a fantastic combination and I loved it. They don't skimp on the toppings which I appreciate.I'll be back to try one of their savory waddles next time!
We have become regulars here. The waffles are amazing and consistent every time. The owners are very kind. If you are in the area (or even 35 mins away like us), make sure to stop by. You will be glad you did
These waffles are delicious! First bought one for myself, but after my husband ate a good part of it, we bought 2 more! Owners are very friendly and I wish them great success.
Oh dear…I have another vice in 7th St Market aka the place where diets go to die. After lunch from Geno D’s and wine from the wine shop, we grabbed dessert from SCW.The Good: the waffles were BOMB. These are not your “Belgium waffles” you may have had from IHOP - these are the real deal. Small, doughy, and crunchy from the caramelization from the sugar pearls embedded in the dough. We share the Maple Bacon waffle and added Nutella because Nutella belongs on EVERYTHING. It was amazing. Not too sweet which was just right for me. I loved the caramelized sweetness added with the different types of sweetness from the maple drizzle and Nutella. My partner had never had Nutella but had waffles in Belgium and gave SCW a big thumbs up saying they were spot on to the waffles in Liege. I absolutely can’t wait to come back and try the Bacon and Brie waffle. The guy and girl manning the operation (maybe the owners?) were extremely friendly as well.The Meh: I had to share this waffle with my partner because calories….bleh. I want my own haha.The Bad: nothing - try these nuggets of deliciousness like NOW!As with all vendors in 7th St Market, they’re easily accessible on the train and parking validation is located in the market for the nearby garage.
Waffles were delicious. I wasn't in the mood for a waffle when my bought one, but that quickly changed after I tasted hers. I went back and bought 4 more. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.
The best waffles ive tried. Its the best in town I believe. The sweet girl who works there has the best customer service. Definitely coming back
