Very good sushi and good service. I would add a little light to the place - a little too dark for me. Maybe different music - more distinct instrumental.
Absolutely amazing.. Definitely one of the best sushi places in the area.
The Druken Lobster Roll was outta this world!
Delis sushi, I forgot what we ordered bc I was a newbie so I let my friend orders! I just remembered she told me ‘they’re one of the rare places where they actually put a whole big and long piece of eels on the roll!’ All the items she picked were amazing And we sealed the deal with some green tea ice cream and some cream puff…it was huge and sooooo good! I wished my tummy was a tad roomier to finish that giant, delis dessert! Very good experience and enjoyed it much!
Absolutely the worst food I've ever put in my mouth from a Japanese restaurant. Onion soup was abysmal and tasted like burnt coffee, ginger dressing on the house salad was watery and tasted like mayo. Ordered the Thai roll which was advertised as shrimp, cream cheese, and crab but I could hardly taste the cream cheese or the crab due to how little of it was in the roll. My mom ordered the hibachi chicken and was served teriyaki chicken with undercooked vegetables. I also ordered the ebi shumai as an appetizer. It was the most expensive shumai I've ever had while also being the smallest portion I've ever had, though the taste was fine. The best thing I had in my meal was the ginger tea I ordered. This place is overpriced and disappointing and I'm frankly shocked it has a 4.3 star rating.
Great food! I love sushi but sometimes want other authentic Japanese food. Their chicken katsu bento box was delicious! I actually came here once a few years back and ordered the same exact thing. The quality hasn't changed! The ginger dressing that comes on the salad is (in my opinion) one of the best! You get so much food with the bento box and it satisfied all my cravings. I also ordered the Yuja tea which is DELICIOUS like you have to try it! My server was so awesome but I forgot her name :(
Just ate there and we were pleasantly surprised. Absolutely delicious. Best of all was the service and selections from our server. I didn't catch her name but she has a bit of a turquoise color in her hair. Asked her to pick some rolls out for us and her selections were the bomb!
I was surprised how good the food was. We only stopped here to grab a bite before going to matcha cafe meiko. Ordered the Hamachi Kama and the Sushiya "A" chef's special combo. The standard maki rolls were ok, but the quality of the sashimi was really good. I'd go back.
Just had for the first time, never saw this place in the arboretum until recently! It was so good! Will be a frequent customer!!
A good value for fresh sushi and Hibachi dishes. Service was attentive and friendly. No complaints
