Update! Just went back after a disappointing visit to Mr. Tokyo. Everything was much better than Mr. Tokyo so please start visiting here....my previous review stands but I've taken a picture of the dang signs! Take them down, especially post-Covid they are like huge stop signs. *** Everything was good. Especially pleased with the crab and avacado salad appetizer, very fresh. Good servers, very clean. Should be busier for the quality. Loved the mural and local art. Take the paper signs off the doors! Gives the wrong impression. It's much more upscale then that.
The service left a lot to be desired. Tables were left dirty beside us for a very long time (our entire meal to be exact). The waitress took forever to return every time. The food was okay but I've had much better.
The food was good. Service was a bit slow even though the restaurant was less than half capacity. They did fulfill our special request for spicy edamame. Knocked it out of the park. Better than any we have ever had. We'll be back for the edamame for sure. The rolls were above average as well.
This place is awesome! Delicious food (absolutely LOVED the steak hibachi) and good sushi! The atmosphere is very nice as well. Friendly staff.
Sushi is fresh and always a great experience. I am a repeat customer here atleast once every few months. Sushi queen has been the best sushi by far since moving to Charlotte. Try the Smokey Mountain roll if you like smoked salmon. It is my favorite roll served in this restaurant.
Great food and service, I will definitely eat here again.
The Hibachi chicken is very good if sushi isn't your thing. Sushi everyone should consider the rainbow, spicy mango, volcano, rock & roll, & hot papa rolls as they're very fresh. Highly recommended
The food and the service was great. The amount of food you get it is worth the price which is reasonable.
First time visiting. Food was great. Prices are super reasonable. Fire roll is the way to go!
The food is great! Love the variety and quality of the sushi. They are accommodating you make any small adjustments, the waitstaff is always very helpful. However, PLEASE stop prioritizing carry out over your dine-in patrons. I know everything is short staffed, that’s everywhere, so you go prepared to wait a bit longer. But when you see 20 carry out orders go out the door before you get your meal…. Come on guys, those eating in are ordering the appetizers, meals, drinks, extra drinks, “one more roll”, dessert, and leaving tips. Put them first!!!
