I visited this place for the first time and it is so good! It was a nice, quiet place with great service. The food was delicious and fresh, and we felt it was quite affordable. My friend and I had the edemame, basil rolls, a seaweed salad, spring mix salad, and split the S&S 101 combo, and it was about $60. We'll definitely come back next time we're in the area. Definitely try it out.
Poor service from male, elderly server. This was my husband and my first and last time visiting. We stopped by Nordstrom to pickup a few shoes and were craving fried rice before heading home. The S.A. there recommended sushi 101, so I tried it. We picked up a bowl of noodles for my husband and chose to be seated at sushi 101. The server hardly greeted us before antagonizing my husband and calling us rude for coming into the restaurant with food, in which we tried to explain but kept getting cut off, and the server wouldn’t leave our table as if he was looking for a certain response. I then suggested that we leave and the server condescendingly said “I don’t mean to run you off.” We tipped him $2 and did just that. Little does he know we could buy the place but will never eat there again.
First of all, I want to say the wait staff was wonderful. My noodles tasted burnt. The fried rice is flavorless. The Sushi was okay. The ice water was the best part of my entire meal lol. For the price and quality of the food, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Ordered from there for the first time today and the service as well as the food is subpar. The spicy mayo tastes like cardboard, and the sushi rolls were not like any place I've tasted with the same basic rolls. The staff was not friendly either.. perhaps judging a book by its cover, I don't know. I definitely will not visit this location again.

We gave it two shots at this place. We live close by and had some high hopes. First attempt was strictly sushi specialty rolls. Bland, bland, bland. Honestly I don't understand how they're able to get such an attractive ingredient list to end up with almost no flavor. It's incredible. So we go again because we want it to be better. Second attempt, chicken fried rice and standard rolls. The rolls were just okay. The fried rice was terrible. Literally no flavor at all. The chicken isn't seasoned and the rice has no pop. I'm really bummed. Won't go back for a 3rd try. Fool me once, etc. --I do have to say that the staff is really friendly and genuine. Otherwise it would be 1 star.
I’ve given this place an honest try , I’ve ordered 3 separate times and they always have an error. The last time the Avocado in my sushi was brown. I called and they issued me a credit not a refund. I accepted because I have had good service before. When I went to place my replacement order I guy by the name of Steve ,told me that if this particular order was wrong there’s nothing that he can do. And he will not be issuing me any credits in the future ,not an apology for the past mistakes just I will not fix your meal. I explained to him if you guys made things correctly or of quality you wouldn’t have to replace it in the first place ,so I don’t suggest eating here unless you want to be blamed for their mistakes and not valued as a customer I’ll be taking my money else where! If you can’t afford to replace customer orders maybe do right the first time
We were happy with our takeout. We ordered miso soup, calamari rings with a spicy dipping sauce, crispy and plain California rolls, surf and turf roll, tempura shrimp rolls and Cajun egg rolls. All were delicious and fairly priced.
