Wine Bar Beer Bar

The worst service I have ever had. Got seated at a table by a very sweet server but my fiancé and I only had an hour until our connecting flight so we moved to the bar thinking it’d be quicker. What an oops. It took quite a while (and I do mean a while) to be acknowledged by our bartender Marci, who simply said “I see you” without even looking at us and then came back even later to ask what we wanted. Not the welcome I expected, as she was very warm and chatty with her coworker but extremely rude in her few encounters with us. Unfortunately at the bar today it was slow going, receiving and overhearing short snaps from the two bartenders behind the bar and we got a wrong higher bill at close out. Customers should not be immediately apologizing for asking for a bill or for their water. I’m genuinely one to highlight the positives of an experience in most cases, as I come from the service industry - but I’ve never felt so unwelcome as a customer and this overall just sucked as an experience. :(

Not thar this review will change anything...I travel weekly our of Charlotte. Two weeks in a row I've tried to eat here. First time, I stood at the front for 10 min waiting to be sat. There was a line of about 5 people. All but 2 walked away due to the wait. It wouldn't be big deal if there wasn't seating, but the place was less than half full.Today, I wanted to try once again. Waited for about 5 min. Bar was almost full (approx 4 seats) tables appeared to be less than 25% full. When the hostess wanted to seat me, she asked if I wanted the bar. I said, no I prefer not to sit at the bar (don't like the temptation of drinking) she then suggests another seat at the corner if the bar. I say again I would rather not sit around the bar. She then says she doesn't have anything else. The person behind me then said what about the other tables. She said she has to get the tables close filled first... smh.. I walked away.Needless to say, I will not be back. With this establishment being in the airport and option are limited, theu can do what they choose without much repercussions.I hope this improves. Not everyone enjoys the bar or drinking.

This is not a reflection of the food or their staff in general… but I honestly just witnessed the most insulting exchange by a bartender and guests that I have in a long time. Now I understand that people are understaffed and frustrated, but if you choose to work with the public, pure polite decency shouldn’t be too much to ask for. One bartender in particular was incredibly rude and honestly it shouldn’t be acceptable. The other bartender… thank you… this has no reflection upon you.

Sat down 45 minutes before my connecting flight was to leave. The bartender was fine. Quick service. I ordered a sandwich. 30 minutes later the order had not even started to be cooked. Amazingly bead service. Had to grab s Snickers bar for dinner.

Went there because reviews were good and they had an impossible burger (i’m vegan) and almost right after sitting down the server(older lady, reciept said “franches” but i’m not sure if that was her name)acted bothered by everything. I asked for lemons for my tea and you could visibly tell she acted like that was too much for me to ask for. I’ve worked in a restaurant so I never ask for too much and i’m always friendly, so it surprised me. Food was also very mediocre, parents who ordered meat burgers weren’t thrilled either.

If you are @ the B gates @ CLT stop in to the Summer House — great menu — delicious food — nice people!

Food is pretty good potion wise! Menu is fairly basic but delicious!!!

I decided to patronize this establishment before my flight and sat down at the bar. The bartender requested my ID. I provided her with my ID, and she went and looked me up and down and said that the NC does not allow her to accept my ID as a valid form of identification. However, they will accept my driver's license, and I provided that to her- but because it was a temporary issued driver's license, she refused to take it. I found this odd because I rented a car in NC with the same driver's license and patronized several bars with the exact identification. Furthermore, this was done in front of multiple customers and was one of the most uncomfortable experiences for me.

We were very surprised to find this spot in the airport. When you walk up to it and are inside, you would not think you are inside an airport terminal stopping for food. The waitress was very friendly. The only thing was that they were out of a LOT of things on their menu and only had burgers and sides (they didn't have any appetizers or tacos). Not sure if they ran out for the day and it was only 5:30pm when we sat down to eat. That was slightly disappointing and yet the food came out hot and delicious. They made my burger a lettuce wrap because I cannot eat gluten. Also they have had vegetarian options.

Fantastic tacos and great atmosphere to spend your layover in.
