I had the absolute worst experience at this place I asked for LIGHT MAYO (Which is seen on the receipt) the manager was upset because I asked her to remake my burger due to the clearly BURNT bun … if you want a charred bun With HORRIBLE customer service this is your place … I will be contacting Corporate in regards to this matter WILLISHA (yes that’s her name) & her Manager which she refused to provide has to be the two worst employees a company could ever invest in .. Willisha ALSO had a Black & mild sitting in plain sight where customers could (Let’s not forget COVID is still a thing) .. this place is just NASTY ..
Great food. We have not been in a couple years. They have changed order at kiosk pick up your food. I think I like it better than waiting on a server. More places relying on servers to come to work each day should do this.
The drive thru person was nice. However the French fry machine was down. They were someone was trying to fix it. They did ask if I still wanted the burger. However. Didn't say if the combo price was going to be adjusted.
Ordered for pick up. Was hoping to get my food home while it was still hot. However the lady at the front counter went to the back when I came in. So I waited, and waited, and waited. The lady on the grill had to stop what she was doing to get me some assistance.AND EVEN THEN, the front counter lady walked right past me to the little white girl that was only there to show them her prom dress.The front counter lady NEVER did assist me, the cook from the back had to come forward to help me.I'm a black male, so I should've expected that in that part of town... That's on me for having any expectations.
Ordered online for delivery. Ordered 3 burgers, fries, onion rings and 3 shakes. When order arrived I was given 1 shake and a bag of food. Per delivery guy, thats what he was given. I called the store and spoke with a lady who stated her name was Emily. Explained to her that I didn't receive my complete order. She stated I could come pick up what I was missing. So I sent my nephew. When he arrived at the store was told there was NO Emily there. After some discussion my nephew was able to get all but 1 thing we were missing. Of course once he got back home with everything the food was cold. Onion rings were not cooked completely. For $51 worth of food. Not worth it.
The food was not to my standards. For the price I paid for the hamburger the sandwich was really small. Definitely not worth $8. We were there during Happy Hour when shakes are half off. The employee said she couldn't get the register to take the shake off. Poor customer service. Definitely won't be going back. The shake was good...the reason for the 2 stars.
Haven't eaten there for years, but my girl wanted to try it. I had a gift card on my phone but their system will not allow me to enter the number manually.... I asked for help, comes the manager, who according to him "only been working there for a short while and doesn't know everything". so I had to pay cash. the place had 99 Health score but didn't look clean to me.... Bathrooms definitely weren't clean. the burgers looked good but the burger patty didn't have any taste to it.... I remembered very quickly why I haven't been to this place in a long time, I know now I won't be back.
The service style has changed since my last visit. Rather than waiting to be sat and getting your order taken, you order and pay at a kiosk, sit and wait for your order to be called. The food was good. But the tables and bathroom were really dirty.
Very poor customer service experience. Messed up my burger three times, the last attempt by the manager. The manager failed to accept responsibility for their error, but rather proceeded to tell me how I should worded my order, so in others it was my fault they messed up. But, since he messed it up too, clearly it wouldn’t have mattered how I worded my order. Will not return to this location or patron any of the other establishments for this restaurant ever again. They need additional training in customer service skills and avoid blaming the customer for their mistakes.
This was my very first time having Steak 'n Shake and I loved it!
