I have never written a google review before, so please take away from this that the Starbucks on N Tryon St is one of a kind, and I just had to say something. This Starbucks has been so much more than just a coffee shop for me over the course of this year. Since I moved to Charlotte, I have come here almost every single day for numerous reasons. It is a bright and bustling environment where the sun comes through the windows just right, but what really makes it special are the people there. My friends refer to it as, "my sanctuary". Some of my best memories, greatest connections, and longest hours studying have been found and spent here. And for good reason. For me this Starbucks is one where I can always find some happy. Huge shoutout to Courtney for being an absolute gem, memorizing my order, and always taking the time to say hello to me. You never cease to make my day :) As long as I am in Charlotte, I will keep coming back. I will never forget this place.
I typically have good service at this location however, today their cafe was closed but the drive thru was open…I waited 10 minutes for my drink (no problem) but what annoyed me is that I ordered a vanilla chai tea latte, yet they forgot the vanilla. I got out of the car and knocked on their door to inform them of their error for them to stare at me through the door and ignore me, although it was obvious that I had just left there, my cup was in my hand and the person who took my order made eye contact with me. So, for them to not address me as a paying customer who had already paid for their drink, I won’t be returning.

Nice and clean atmosphere. And so far they have gotten the drinks correct.
This is my first negative experience with Starbucks. The customer service today was very poor. Today they didn't greet anyone, they didn't show enough support to their ne hires, they didn't speak loudly and clearly to their guests which is needed since they are wearing maskes. They treat not only myself poorly but the 3 people behind me as well. They don't take feed back well and would rather blame you for their lack of custo.er service. I've been here other days and it went better, you can't stop the ball especially this bad. Today I was delivering for uber eats and if it wasn't for my desire to provide superior service to my customers I would have canceled the order. Do better guys. Hopefully you learn to work together and provide 5 star service to your customers at the same time.
I put my order in at the wrong location and they still made it for me. Quickly with no fuss. Sometimes they run behind but customer service likes this keeps me coming back.
Customer service was great. The woman was very nice and helped my children figure out cool frappes to order.
I'm not a coffee drinker but I ordered a venti carmel frap cream base with extra caramel drizzle. This is something that was recommended to me by a friend. The drink was so good! I also ordered a cake pop, but I was not impressed by that at all. By my drink was very tasty.
Their brewed coffee is terrible. It smells burnt and mostly smells of cigarette ash. I have tried different brews over the past 6 months and all I feel is pain in a cup. Their custom sugar filled drinks are incredibly sweet but doesn't have the cigarette aftertaste. I am happy that they have good replacements of milk like coconut milk and soy milk. Their food options is limited, and most of the items are sold out by 11 AM. It's mostly filled by college students so the vibe is incredible here. If only I could bring my own coffee there. ?
After waiting 20 min for a coffee I asked what was the wait for. I was told they had to make whip cream. So ok that’s understandable. Then I watched them serve 3 other drinks with whip cream out their drive up window. And I had then be waiting 30 min for a freaking drink. I got my money back and left.
