This used to be my favorite Starbucks to stop at in my way to work, as of lately the quality has gone down. I have a dairy allergy and always request oat/ almond milk or drink it black. This is not the first time I've had a problem but they are always willing to remake it. Today I saw on the label it didn't specify which milk was used so I asked and they responded 2%, I clarified I asked for oat and they responded no it's oat. I asked if they could remake it since it seemed they were unsure and they said no and to move through the line and mumbled something under their breath.
This Starbucks was directly across from my hotel so I decided to try it out. I started out kinda rough with Brynne. I explained my order in a very unusual and overly-complicated way. I may have even come off a little bit narcissistic but I did not mean to. Anyways she was very cool about it and was patient with me the whole time (so thank you Byrnne lol) Then I spoke to Dominique who made my drink with about 6 others all at the same time! She was incredibly efficient and I was pretty impressed simply watching her make drinks with such accuracy and ease. Then I interacted with Annie, who was extremely personable and had such an amazing and friendly smile! She was one of the few who actually asked my name when I asked her about her name tag.She was great, I told her my name and she responded with "Hey John it's wonderful to meet you" I know this may sound fairly insignificant but out of all the reviews I've done.I very rarely get someone like Annie who seems to take a sincere interest in the customers she interacts with eveByrnough she "Has to" but this particular Starbucks is well... Cute! It's small and perched upon it's own little hill but MAN the employees that work here are incredibly productive and kind. Of i'm in the area again i'll definitely stop by and also recommend this location to others who visit this area.
I love Starbucks, my ex opened the first Charlotte store on 7th Street. I don't understand what's happening now though, it seems like customer service has become an afterthought. No greetings when you walk in, you have to wait someone's up to 10 minutes just to get your order taken as you are being ignored.I started in customer service, know everything there is to know about it, I've never actually seen a company steer it's employees towards being stand offish and uppity, but everything I see a manager talking to an employee that is pretty much the vibe I get.Starbucks has forgotten why they are in business and it shows!
I used to stop at this Starbucks after I first moved to the area in 2019, especially on my way to work. I swung by a week ago, they did a great job! Made the order as requested.
This may he one of the worst Starbucks I've ever been too. Unfortunately it is the most convenient to my house and commute to work. They close early all the time, half the time you come here and they are closed for some reason or another so i domt even get to have coffee before going to my night shift. They are also consistently out of everything. The line also takes a rediculously long time. It seems like a very poorly run store all around. The workers are usually nice so that is about the only thing they have going for them. I wish there was a more convenient Starbucks to go to because this one ain't it.
If you’re going to close in the middle of a totally normal work day post it to your google maps account. This is 2022 it can’t be that hard to update your hours of operation. Its 9:40am on a tuesday… why are closed? Just to waste my time ?
The drive thru line is usually pretty long, which can be annoying because there is a giant pothole on the road where the line goes. Like this pot hole could end your cars life. One thing I don't understand; why did Starbucks roll out plastic lids that don't require straws, if every barista just gives me a straw anyways? I don't ask for it, they just throw it in my bag. Seems like a waste. Also, the number of times I have been called Matt here is just astronomical.
Always a treat. And good value if you order ahead & earn stars on the app for free drinks. I love it when I am rewarded for loyalty.
One of the best Starbucks I've ever been to! Super nice and they never mess up my order. They are also the fastest drive thru I've been to.
While I love coming to this Starbucks and I didn’t have any problems with my drink order, when I walked in and over to the counter to order, the manager/shift lead was I guess “correcting” the rest of the baristas. This was this morning, about 6:50 am. However, it was in a threatening and disrespectful manner. All the while no one has stepped up to take my order. Honestly, I felt secondhand embarrassment for them. Some looked scared to move, some just annoyed, so you know this isn’t her first time doing this. First off, how could you treat people like that? Trying to instill fear in your workers? And secondly, to openly embarrass them right in front of customers?! Everyone should be treated with respect, especially in customer service, where they constantly have to please other people and I’m sure they don’t get paid enough. I’m definitely speaking to corporate.
