We ate here on June 13 2021 leaving Mountain Island on our way to Florida. Service was spot on very fast, once we got a table. Food was better than expected don't judge a book by the cover. Dispute what the outside looks like the decor is very 50-60's dinerish and unique.We will definitely stop here again if passing through. And the regulars are awesome, we had the privilege of practically sharing the same table with Kevin (I think or Keith) he said he has been eating there everyday since 1992. Such a pleasant experience, something you won't find in New Jersey... oh make sure you ...Try the Livermush!
Restaurant is dated inside, booths are fealtyI asked for a rag just to clean hair from seatIt's food stuck in between booth ,old as you can tell.Breakfast ends at 11am just a heads up!!Service is lazy waitress doesn't know ,what's on menu , what's special etc...I asked for hot tea , got a dirty tea cup.Old coffee stains on my cup , lip part.Was not good ..This business has been here and it's HistoricIn all the wrong lazy ways..Staff needs to close and clean .

The food was not good. I can make better breakfast and I am no chef. The service was worse. They have one server for 10 tables and she prioritize larger parties. I won’t be going back.
I went one morning after working a 12 hour shift starving and asked for a breakfast sandwich. I’m a country girl and hadn’t had fried bologna in forever and was craving it, bad idea. It was overcooked along with the toast being burned. Maybe I’ll go back yo see if they can redeem themselves.

Usually food is good. However today my take out order was surprising.Toast was burned, not slightly burned, BURNED BURNED!!!!Hashbrowns were hard on one side.The quality of the food today was horrible.

I absolutely love this place!!!! It's not expensive the prices are reasonable for what i get and they really know how to cook. It's is delicious ?
