I been eating here over 4 years the food is always awesome . Fresh oysters well mixed drinks great wait staff . Just an awesome experience

Everything!! The lobster roll is a favorite, the scallops and lottery fried rice are awesome!!! And their oysters are straight from Sea Level...yet the town!!!

While visiting Charlotte, NC, (our first time here) we decided to have dinner at Sea Level and we weren't disappointed!! The atmosphere was amazing and the food was incredible! We started with the salmon peach salad-YUM!! Then for dinner, we had the scallops & risotto and swordfish-both were delicious!! Next time we're in Charlotte, we will come back for dinner!! Our server, Ariel, was exceptional. We explained that this was our first time there and she was very helpful beginning with our drinks (We had the opal ocean and wicked weed because of her suggestions) and they were great!! Thank you Ariel for making our dinner a memorable one!

Maybe it's because I'm from the desert and have never had real good seafood before, but this was the best seafood I have ever eaten! The food was cooked perfectly, seasoned impeccably, and the wait staff was super friendly and I felt very welcome. I highly recommend!

The Scallops and risotto was delicious as was the happy hour oysters. Dessert was super creamy and worth every bite! Wait staff was consistent at ensuring my needs were met. The only downfall was that the table for two wasn't steady, and my cocktail arrived late. I would certainly go back again.

We really enjoyed dinner at Sea Level NC on a busy Saturday night. Wait staff and manager were friendly and worked hard to make our experience more enjoyable. The food was excellent (catfish) and menu diverse. Highly recommend and will eat here again.

Me and my partner had the pleasure of having date night at Sea Level last night. Walking in we were immediately greeted and seated by a very friendly host. After being seated we did wait quite some time before our waiter came to greet us. The waiter was the only downside to the experience. She didn’t seem to want to serve us but remained professional. We had the shrimp and grits and salmon and grits. Both were AMAZING! Seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The bar was very aesthetically pleasing but we passed on that part of the light because our little one accompanied us. We will definitely be back again.

By far if there is any seafood restaurant to go dining in it has got to be the Sea Level. The waitstaff was phenomenal especially our waiter Ray. The restaurant manager Jason made us both feel at home and not only that through conversation found out we were from the same hometown. It's hard nowadays to find genuine people who truly want to make your dining experience special but I can assure you that the Sea Level does just that with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!

We made reservations for our anniversary dinner and had high expectations based on reviews, and photos etc. We were seated immediately on arrival which was a great sign. That pretty much was the end of the 5 star service. Our server, younger guy, was so unwelcoming it just ruined my night. He behaved like just coming over to take our order or answering a question was the biggest inconvenience. Easily the worst service experience I’ve ever had and especially a shame since it was on such a special occasion. The oysters were great and drinks were decent. The calamari was good also. The entrees were ok but lacked flavor. The lobster roll was filled with lobster mush and lump lobster sat on the top. The best thing on the plate was the green tomato relish under the catfish. It was so bright and seriously elevated the dish. The pot de crème was nothing special and just added to the overall lacking theme of the evening. We still tipped the server 20% because I don’t believe in withholding gratuity when service workers aren’t paid a liveable wage, but it was in no way a reflection of his service. I would suggest a few things if the establishment cares to improve-1. Don’t ask about special occasions on the reservation form if you don’t care to acknowledge or act on such.2. Educate and coach your team members on appropriate service behavior. It’s a disappointment to spend money on a terrible experience. My date’s experience was summed up as “meh, we’ve had better”.

Yes, the food was incredible. I got the swordfish by my servers suggestion, and good food, but truly our server made it an experience and that’s worth every penny. Not sure of his name but he had long hair, some tattoos. 100% recommend
