My first experience at this restaurant was ok the lady that waited on us was very nice and allowed us to sample some thing I wish I had sampled a piece of that beef. When I tell you that was a rough cut dry, crunchy, and chewy the soups were fine nothing really to brag about I have had better. Fufu could have been smoother. The gentleman that was in there working with the young lady was rude I would have given this place 1 star but the lady that waited on us deserves these extra stars. God bless you ma'am and it's hot as heck in there and we cleaned our own tables thank God for Clorox wipes.

I won't ever patron this restaurant ever again. The guy on the phone was rude and hung up on me when I tried giving my information for a smooth pick-up. Then rude to my son when he went to pick up my food. We drove too far for the disrespect and poor customer service. They must be so wealthy they don't need your business. The food was good except for the extra season of hair in the egusi soup. In good faith I cannot recommend this restaurant. I will share my experience and send friends and family elsewhere.

We went there for my birthday, bc we had never eaten any type of African food. And I have been wanting to try. It was great! Service was awesome & the guy serving the food , OMGOODNESS! He wasn't only friendly, but he did it all with a smile. And the place stayed with ppl coming in. Which means ppl LOVE their food. And we did too! Had to make sure I could bring some back with me. And trying to find a way for them to deliver an hour away. ???

Normally don’t leave reviews but I had high hopes since this was my first time trying fufu and egusi. I most likely won’t trust any other places due to how badly flavored the food was . Also I ordered on door dash and stood at the counter for 20 mins waiting for the person behind the counter to acknowledge me. Once he did I waited another 5 for him to serve a woman that came in behind me before grabbing my order from behind him .

First time eating African food and must say it was delicious! I ordered the chicken and jollof rice. They only thing that could have been better was the chicken. I didn't have much meat on my pieces. Otherwise excellent.

Got the Egusi Efo soup combo with fufu and oh my was it delicious. The chicken was a bit dry and overcooked but the taste of everything else made it no problem to over look. Jollof rice was so good. The Egusi is definitely my favorite of the two. Can't wait to try more

I went to this restaurant and ordered 2 combos the Egusi w/. White rice & Efo Riro w/. White rice as I was eating my egusi I started seeing little black hairs all in my food so I picked them out and placed them on my container and called the restaurant stating the problem they just apologized and said f your money so I went back up there to get an refund and was told they don’t give refunds it’s not their fault despite the MALE employee not having on an hair net when he was prepping my food . HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED and the owner attitude is VERY NASTY he hung up in my face and I spent 32.15 here so I had to result to calling the health department on them

I really had high hopes for this place. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. After looking at the menu online. I called in to place my order, egusi (oxtail) with fufu. The guy stated we don’t have oxtails. I said ok well I will have the goat. Him: we don’t have that either. I’m like ok what do you have? I ended up getting the beef. The beef was dry, tough, and flavorless. The meat pie was good though but it’s not worth me driving 25 minutes for. I’m overall disappointed about the food.

Stewed beef and pounded yam was great. Other people in the party were happy too with their orders of ground nut chicken. All containers were either plastic or Styrofoam though.

$43 for 1 meal and 2 drinks. Potato greens were mostly oil. Rice is good as usual and the entire chin and neck of my snapper was gone. Didn’t get no tomato sauce or onions on top of snapper. The young girl forgot my plantains ??‍♀️.Wayyyyy to overly priced for no reason at all.Never ever will I go back and I do not recommend.
