Food tasted amazing and they give you a pretty decent portion based on the price. Was a little disappointed that we could not change out our naan when we were not the biggest fan of it. We were basically told no but it is understandable as to why. Normally a restaurant will allow you to switch out food items or take it off of the bill but that was not an option here. Other than that, the food was delicious and definitely will come back at some point.
As my wife and I entered the restaurant we saw a sign that they are short staffed so please be patient. Ok. The weather was glorious outside but no one was eating outside. We asked if we could sit outside and at first he said no because they were short staffed, but then quickly said that we could if we understood that the service might be a bit slower. No problem we said. Well the service was just fine and not slow at all. The food was really really good too! Great place and we will return whenever we can.
Can't review the food, but.. I stopped in for lunch one day, and there was literally no other customers in there. The host seated me at a dusty table & i sat there for 10 minutes as I watched other restaurant employees busy themselves with a to go pick up, looked like 1 dish, chatting up the customer who picked up, messing with utensils,etc... Totally ignored me...ugh.. also, no lunch buffet any more, which was disappointing. I know a lot of restaurants don't offer any more after covid, but still... Won't go back
Standards here have been slipping over the past 2 months. They used to be good quality food, now unfortunately I cannot say the same. Upon delivery, tandoori chicken was a soupy mess 2 orders ago, I’ve never in my entire life of being Indian seen a watery gravy like version of tandoori chicken… most recently I ordered a chicken korma and a chicken vindaloo instead I received 2 chicken kormas… no attention to detail here anymore, disappointing
The food was absolutely delicious, and the wait staff is so nice and attentive. This is the only Indian restaurant in Charlotte I will ever go to, and will recommend it to everyone I know!
Sever on site today displayed a low level of respect towards me as customer! Made an unnecessary and untruthful comment towards me. I was on the verge of just walking out and in hindsight that's exactly what I should've done.Additionally, I ordered chicken curry, literally was poorest quality of meat I've ever received at an sit down restaurants. Portion size of meat to the cost of the meal/entree is grossly disproportionate.I've eaten here 4 times in the last six years.... This will be my absolute last time and will not recommend them to anyone inquiring and wanting to have Indian cuisine for a meal. This restaurant does not deserve my money or your money.
Me & my family love coming here! The service is lovely we usually come around 5pm to avoid the dinner rush. Love the mango lassi, chicken korma is super creamy & delicious. My one year old LOVES their rice pudding and Palak Paneer! Will recommend to family and friends (:
Amazing food jammed with flavors. The staff was most helpful and service was fast! Haven't had indian food this good in a very long time. A must try.
I loved this place! The dining atmosphere was pleasant the food was great in every sense and the level of cleanliness was exceptional! Even the bathrooms! Definitely will be back in the future.
The restaurant was cozy, clean, and they had great service. I have eaten alot of Indian food so I was excited to try this restaurant. To my disappointment the food was super bland. We got the Tikka chicken and Pandori chicken. Absolutely not seasonings. Was a little bummed out. Someone ordered the lamb biyrani and he said he had flavor. I don't eat red meat so I couldn't try it. It just wasn't the Indian food I'm used to back home in NYC.
