Had lunch there today. Ordered the plantains, Curtido fish taco, and a shredded chicken empanada. The plantains were good. I didn’t care for them with the cheese and cilantro though. The fish taco with corn tortilla was very tasty, but the shredded chicken empanada was the best I’ve had around Charlotte. I will definitely be back to try the other filling options. And finally, the people working there were very friendly.
Tasty food, really first rate restaurant. Great burritos and empanadas, very flavorful with a great selection of customizations. The pineapple habanero salsa is delicious and great with chips or on top of burritos. This place is going to be national, I have no doubt. But for now it is an excellent local gem.
Excellent tacos and drinks. We had the Americano, the Loco, and Pork Belly. If you ever question what you want, get the pork belly. Hands down the best of those three.
Unfortunately, I have nothing good to say about this experience. I used to frequent Sabor on Hawthorne and the one in NoDa. I was hoping for the same quality at the one near South Park Mall. This place did not come close. My partners order came out wrong, we sent it back, she has an allergy to shrimp. Then my order came out, I cannot eat beef I sent that back. And unsurprisingly enough the lady sitting behind me requested no beans in her food, yet she got beans. Doesn't the POS create a ticket with all the ingredients for the meal? Like unless you're illiterate, there is no excuse.
Love it! Super friendly and patient staff, we asked a lot of questions.The food is high quality and fresh. The nachos are my favorite! They also have a complementary salsa bar in the back.I love the mojitos and my husband likes the margaritas. ?
I spent over $5.00 PER taco and this is what I received. This is ridiculous! The meat is BONE dry, with ZERO flavor. This was my second time ordering, the first time they forgot the meat and then refused to refund me. I will never go here again. I don't understand how this place has such great reviews.
I went here for the first time on my lunch break & The Quesabirria tacos are HEAVENLY. And the chili broth that came with it was SO good. I also got a chicken Empanada because I wanted to try something new and it did NOT disappoint at all. Worth every penny. The staff was nice, I loved the self serve salsa bar. It was clean, everything was fully stocked and an overall nice atmosphere. Honestly, I’m probably going back by on my way home.
Great location. Menu is interesting and not like other Latin food joints around here. Got various small plates. Hit or miss but if I had known what I like I would have just ordered those.

This team is GREAT! I had a big catering order for the day after Thanksgiving and they handled everything perfectly and took so much stress off my shoulders. The staff and manager I worked with on this could not have been nicer or more accommodating.Everyone at our party LOVED the food and the catering menu allowed me to choose options that worked for a variety of dietary restrictions.
