the classic vegan burger was amazing and the sodas are too we have the ginger ale soda. I will be going back again and again and again.
We live in Atlanta and came to Romeos because we were in the area, plus I’ve heard about them before and wanted to try it out. We came when they were about to close but they still let us order because we told them we came from Atlanta. Everyone inside was super friendly and they gave us some recommendations of things to try so I got the Romeo Mac burger, chili cheese tots and the Oreo shake. Everything was super good so I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area!

the drive thru window guy today need more manners and he was super dismissive but the food always great.
So first I should have managed my expectations ? I didn't realize this was a fast-food vegan drive thru.Nevertheless let's take about my experience was okay the drive thru speaker didn't work to well or the gentleman just wasn't speaking up. I order the Romeo's bbq bacon burger with beyond meat, combo I asked for tots.Quick and easy but I waited at the drive thru window for 12 to 15 minutes. My guess they make the food fresh not sure. I wanted something other than soda to drink with my "combo" but ended up taking water because there are no healthy options and the tea & lemonade was an additional almost 4 bucks. My food arrived not hot but not cold & the tots I ordered happened to be warm French fries and I was informed if I wanted fresh tots it would another 15mins. See pics below.Overall I appreciate the concept but I'm not a beyond meat or impossible burger fan. But it's great if you need something fast & expensive. For one person you can easily spend 27 dollars. The sauce on the burger was great, it was kind of sloppy on the bun but whatever, my meat had been flattened out making it look close to dog food (to me). I had 1 slice of the fake bacon on my burger, I honestly don't think the wait & taste add up to paying 22.00 dollars for 1 meal. It was just okay for me. But I give 4 starts for the concept. Charlotte needs more vegan options with great tasting food !!
Had been wanting to try Romeo's for a while. I used to see their food truck off of Cotswold but never got a chance to stop. They've been very popular since opening this brick and mortar location a few months ago.Totally worth the wait!!! I had the BBQ Bacon burger. It was delicious. You would have never known it wasn't real beef and cheese. Burger was juicy, the bacon tasted almost like the turkey bacon I typically eat, and the bbq sauce was the perfect balance of sweet & tangy. Fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. The house sauce was good to dip my fries in. Worth the price.My friend had the fries covered in chili, cheese, and the house sauce. I wish I could have gotten a picture of her face cause she was in absolute bliss. She enjoyed her Strawberry Shake as well.Highly recommend Romeo's!
First and foremost, the food was so delicious here. I felt so out of place eating our meals from here. Got the BBQ Bacon Burgers, very impressed. Do appreciate the opportunity for a delicious vegan meal. I understand staffing is hard to come by but a lot of people waited more than 40 mins for their meals. Could definitely use some improvements in the service side. Hopefully the next visit is a bit more fast pace & organized. Will say the woman running things in the back was running it very well, she just needs a couple more motivated to her degree.
I love the Chili Cheese fries and the Kale Salad and believe they are reasonably priced. I have gone for them at least every weekend for over a month lol. The Kale salad is not skimpy with the dressing and veggies and I've used it for meal prep as it stays fresh a few days. The only critique is the portion size of the Chili fries are not consistent and only once were they dry because therw wasn't enough Chili Sauce throughout, but overall I receive great service and one of the owners is always there greeting customers.This is a fast food Vegan drive thru and they stay busy so be prepared to wait. It's a very small lot and is consumed with cars in the drive thru so it's hard to park in the lot to go in which I believe is quicker. My suggestion would be to patronize a local business and get your food while parked there. Don't just park somewhere and not patronize, you may have a surprise boot or missing vehicle when you return. It's happened to me sadly.
Romeo’s Vegan Burgers is one of my favorite spots to eat. It brings me joy to see these black entrepreneurs grow their business from a food truck to a full service restaurant. I wish them all the success on their business.
Great Customer Service, Delicious well seasoned vegan burger, kale salad, and fries. Several people ordered the Strawberry shake as well. Drive-thru was long, but the line moved quickly. Several seats inside to dine-in. Try It even if you are not vegan, I'm not vegan.
