I like Rico's, and go there fairly often, but I have noticed several times... months apart... where you don't have large bowls. Like you force people to buy a small because you don't have plastic bowls. The cynical part of me thinks you're just trying to maximize your profit margins. Regardless, you have lost some of my business on a few occasions because of it. How hard is it to find/buy a few months supply of disposable plastic bowls?

See photos. This bowl was not fresh and has some weird thing in the bottom. It looked to be prepared long ago and then frozen and taken out of freezer and sent for delivery. Gross. It had something that had frozen in the bottom - but it wasn’t water. It was of a plastic consistency.Worst thing is I tried to contact the store - left a message on voicemail AND emailed them. Never heard anything back. So hence this review.

Rico's Acai was a really pleasant experience.1. The bowls are delicious! The fruit is very fresh and you feel great after eating these bowls. As others have mentioned there is not a great deal of Acai in the bowl! It tastes so good it leaves you wanting a bit more.2. They are fairly pricey. However, the fruit here is a bit more fresh than some other places in the area. I think the prices are pretty good for what you get.3. Customer service was excellent, however, we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for our order to be fulfilled. They have outdoor seating so you can wait for your food or enjoy your order on nice days.

$14 for a medium “fruit bowl” yet only 1 inch of the bowl was fruit, the rest was granola and peanut butter, and the Acai looked liked someone made a home smoothie, put the leftover in their freezer uncovered and got all icy and dry. It didn’t taste bad but honestly because there wasn’t enough to taste it over the peanut butter. I tried to justify the price by saying it’s fresh fruit which isn’t cheap but then again 1 banana doesn’t cover the cost. Hard to say I’ll be back

I go here a lot! They’ve super nice bowls and even better possible additions. I always add coconut oil to my bowls. My only downfalls are the prices I get it’s real fruit and real everything!!The açaí is always perfect, never delivered melted.

I love this place. I come every weekend. The place is calming and the service is always delightful! I definitely recommend the rainbow bowl it’s amazing and has fantastic fresh fruit. I can never get enough of Rico’s!!

You can never go wrong with Rico’s. It took me a long time to find an açaí bowl place that is good quality and good price/taste. I came in a while ago and I just love everything about this place. Coming from the people/service to the açaí bowls. Y’all need to try the Butterbro it’s my personal favorite!!

Absolutely love coming here! Awesome staff. Best acai around.

Always looked forward to Rainbow bowl here. Last few times has been disappointing! Very cheap with the AÇAÍ (the best part about the bowl) literally thin layer of it. Doesn’t even fill to the top like other locations. Every time I order takes about 20-30 minutes to make a bowl peeked in employees conversations and on their phones.

I’ve been ordering here for over a year. So much that they knew me by my order and I’ve never had a complaint but I will say that the quality has gone down. Less Acai and I don’t like the new containers they come in. It use to be the clear bowls but last time I got a small paper cup that was not the same size. Because the cup was taller but now wider I had way less Acai in my cup compared to the clear bowls where you can spread it out evenly with the granola at the bottom. I was so sad bc I had been craving them. I understand price increase but please keep the quality the same. Also, I would appreciate getting a decent amount of coconut flakes instead of a vague sprinkle considering you pay and extra $1 for toppings.
