Where has this Thai restaurant been all my life? Great flavors. My wife ordered the Chicken Pho. She left her dish unsupervised and her 10 year old son stole a bite. He might have traded meals except his Drunken Noodles were a little taste of heaven. I was allowed to taste my family's dish if I shared mine. I had the Angry Cowboy and wow it was spicy and packed with flavor. The great thing is you can request light spice or Thai Native. If you get Thai Native, have your affairs in order (hahaha) and make sure you order the Thai Iced Tea to cool your pallet.To add another layer of excellence, the hostess was sweet and the bartender did a great job waiting tables. Great service all around.If you like Thai, you ABSOLUTELY MUST try Rice and Spice. You can thank me later!!!! :o)
Thank you Google for suggesting this amazing Thai restaurant that delivered an amazing meal with great service in a super clean and friendly location. About the decor, very modern approach to traditional styles. Especially loved the hand-drawn (in chalk!) artwork on the walls. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable about the best dishes based on our likes/dislikes. We ordered an abundance of food and everything was fresh and delicious and well crafted. Food came out fast. Staff took good care of us. And it was a great night on an unexpected visit. Thanks Rice & Spice, we appreciate your whole team!
This is a great place. We went today (2/20). I'm glad I had looked it up to make sure if it was opened. They open at 5pm on Sunday's which means we were thr first ones there. I order appetizers which were Spring Rolls and for my entree I had Vietnamese fried rice. This place has nothing, but good food and good service even though it was packed by the time we left. I will definitely go here again.
I stumbled across Rice and Spice Thai Street food randomly. Its tucked in a corner off Pineville Matthew road.I'm so happy that I did. The food was absolutely amazing. The flavor was in each and every bite and worth every single penny. They're reasonable priced for Thai food in this particular area. Ranging from $10 (appetizers/lunch specials) to $30 (dinner sizes). The lunch specials are only offered Monday through Friday. They do offer alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. There are vegan, vegetarian and pescetarian opitions. So something for everyone!They were short staffed much like everyone else but the staff was extremely polite and accommodating.The establishment itself was a bit on the smaller side but finding seating was a problem during my visit.All in all, I would definitely revisit Rice and Spice.
The food is pretty good but more on the pricier side. I would eat there again if I was already in the area.
Absolutely my favorite Thai restaurant here in Charlotte, hands down! The food here is really just top notch. The owner is really amazing too. I want to pretty much eat everything on the menu. The flavors are so rich and it is actually spicy so don't go crazy. I just wish I lived closer to this area so I could have more meals here. I was super impressed with my first time and even takeout is still really good. I've been a few times already. If you are in this area, please make sure to check this restaurant out. You won't regret it!
10-Star Service and Top-notch Food!Alejandro was our Server and was/is phenomenal! He exceeded our expectations (party of 6) from the very first greeting to our farewell and was a pure delight. Every dish (appetizer and main) were prepared perfectly, presented beautifully and of course delicious!Go check them out!
Entree - Kra Pow (Spicy Basil) w/ sunny side up egg.. comes w steamed rice and I asked for a side of spicy fish sauce ..this is a rare treat not every Thai establishment has this dish it’s my fav ..appetizer - curry puffs
Overall I was very impressed with the food we ordered as its hard to find a good Thai restaurant. The veggie drunkin noodle was ordered medium spicy which I thought was good but a bit to spicy for others so keep that in mind.Red curry with Tofu was ordered Mild so it was good for everyone. The papaya salad was a nice size portion and pretty authentic, I felt it could use a bit more lime and small shrimps. It came with a side of pork rinds to snack on. Not outrageous prices, great service on the phone, clean, and great flavor close by. I'll be back for more!
Excellent food. So delicious. Been here for both dine in and take out. Never disappointed.
