Most unprofessional place I’ve ever been. I started calling at 11:30 when they opened to place a to go order. No one would answer the phone. After calling several times I decided to just go up there thinking something must be wrong with the phone.When I arrived after 12:00 there was a worker in the back of the restaurant yelling to the top of his voice about a personal matter on the phone & just ignoring me as if I wasn’t there. I guess that’s why no one was answering the phone. Shortly after a woman arrived and said hello as she proceeds to go the the back & never came to take my order. I finally yelled out is someone going to take my order and she finally comes up front & looks at me as if I’m crazy and tells me nothing is ready because they just opened & she doesn’t know when the food would be ready. I said you opened at 11:30 the food should’ve been ready then it’s now after 12:00 what do you mean nothing is ready? She repeated we just opened nothings ready. I was totally shocked & just left. I guess I’m crazy for expecting the food to be ready when a restaurant opens.
Really wanted to love this place.. food was ok but a high price. Ordered via phone and was told 30 minutes, got there at that time and had to wait another 30 to get my meal. Also I'm not sure if it was only temporary but there's no sign except saying "restaurant" I wouldn't have known it was the place.. not even a menu on the window separating it from the other strip mall stores.
Can’t believe I just paid 30 plus dollars for 2 little oxtails and 3 small curry chicken pieces (literally no whole piece)!!!! Flavor wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great on either. Even with inflation this definitely was not worth it.
I've been searching the Charlotte area for tasty Jamaican dishes unfortunately I still haven't found what I'm looking for. Maybe it's just me, but I believe the person who is at the register cashing orders should not be serving food, it's not a good look.
Ordered food at 7:23pm, they never put my order in, at 8:15pm the lady told me it was going to be 15 more minutes, I watched her give ppl their food that came after me. set there till 8:30pm for the lady to tell me it’s going to take a little bit longer. I never got my food!!! I’m good on quidleys, it get worse every time I come back
Beautiful restaurant. I could have done a better job cooking at home. Customer service was very pleasant. Food was not impressive.... the vegetables patty is surprisingly bad.... cheap ingredients... the rice was good but I do not want to pay $10 for a vegetable plate that only consists of onions, peppers and gravy with rice .... I will not be returning. My first experience here before the pandemic was amazing I don't know what happened...
Very nice customer service. Beautiful restaurant. However the prices did not match the amount of food especially for a vegetarian plate. I was highly disappointed. Cheap ingredients filled the vegetarian patty. I immediately felt sick after eating. My husband got food poisoning from the curry chicken and macaroni. I will not be returning.
Poor service!!! Wish I could give them a negative 10….. how in the world are they OK with making someone wait over 30 minutes for vegetables and still walk out with NO FOOD!!! EERIE nation is wayyyyy better food and service. Save your money and time coming to this place

What a delicious dish I was served here. I have jerk chicken , rice, and kidney beans. I loved the food and the reason why I forgot to take a picture until it was all gone. The service was also excellent, and our waiter was hilarious and made everyone laugh with nice stories of his motherland. I will definitely go again.
