Cute set up. However, I would not recommend if you desire a nutritional smoothie with real fruits and vegetables. I’ve never heard of a smoothie place that doesn’t serve a green smoothie.. there were no greens on site. Very telling. I watched the staff member make my smoothie and he literally was just scooping in what seemed to be flavored sugar or powdered versions of a banana or strawberry. I didn’t see actual strawberries go into the smoothie, it was this like jelly substance. No real fresh food for actual nourishment. I think their use of the term smoothie is misleading. It was so much sugar it gave my mom a headache. Thank goodness I stayed to watch them make the smoothie. I asked for oat milk and if I wasn’t standing there the young man would have given me whole milk which could be a major issue for someone who is plant based or vegan. I had turned away for a second and when I turned back I saw he was filling the smoothie with the red cap milk, which is whole milk. He had to do the smoothie over. The unfortunate part is that folks would order this, thinking they are doing good by ordering a smoothie and they’re really just getting flavoring, sugar, and whole milk. Not okay. Giving two stars because the two staff members were sweet and gentle. They’re just trying to do their job so this review is not a reflection of them but rather the owner’s business strategy on using the term smoothie as a buzz term but feeding people junk. That’s not okay.
Just what I need every time! I love boba milk teas and Queen City Tea Bar satisfies my cravings every time! My go-to is the Crazy Taro. Their food is also good. My husband and I have tried the chicken wings, fries, and short-ribs. Best of all, I love how it's a short trip from home.
I wish I can give this place a 10*Absolutely amazing. They have wide range varieties of tea and coffee with even greater range of flavors and toppings. Well bottomings since the toppings sink to the bottom. #dadjokeAnyways, staff is extremely friendly. This was the first time having boba tea for me. IK wth. The person that was taking order helped me very patiently (thank you and sorry lol), explained the ingredients and made the most amazing first boba tea of mine. I have gone to this place 3 days in the last 5 days.Keep up the good work QC Tea Bar!!
This is a great spot! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food and drink are really good! I wasn't expecting the food or smoothies to be any good at a tea place, but they were delicious. I just wish there were herbal tea options since I don't drink caffeine anymore. Will definitely come here again!
Love this place. Found a new spot for my gf and I. The food's great and so is the service! Had an awesome time and the employees are cool, Oh, and they have a chalkboard by the bathroom which was fun too!
This is my favorite place to go for a week day when it is rainy or had a bad day, always a great experience. Even when the drink is what you asked for, they would suggest something different and would give you the drink for free so you can try the variation.Personnel diversity is great, I was eve surprise that some of them could speak my mother tongue. They also have raffles and we won it. They didn't do it on 2021 or maybe I missed it.Thanks.
I really love the drinks and the aesthetics but it’s not getting all 5 because the customer service is terrible. Y’all don’t get me wrong but I go in to get boba cause I’m having a good day or to cheer up my day and I get that they don’t owe me anything but doesn’t it help to be at least a little cheerful.
The lobby area is small but it is very nicely decorated. There are food and drink options which is pretty neat. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My taro smoothie turned out pretty good. I will have to come back and check the place out. They do have a prettty awesome student discount option and a little spin wheel to win awesome prizes with them if you bring your report card showing that you got Straight As, A/B, or Straight Bs which is pretty cool. I definitely recommend!
They bubbly things at the bottom weren’t even in there. I didn’t ask for y’all to part the Red Sea, just wanted the bubble stuff. Goofy.
THEY HAVE OAT MILK! On their online menu it doesn't state it but to my surprise, I order from UberEats for lunch and oat milk was an option. I was so excited. Many places have soy (which I stay away from personally) and Almond milk as the only dairy free options. Almond milk it's not good to me in boba. It lacks the creaminess that oat milk and coconut milk have. They do update their UberEats menu whenever they run out.Anyway, I ordered Taro Milk Tea, Hazelnut Tea and Cajun Fries (w/ honey mustard). I swear the Taro was sooooooooooo good. I almost ordered another one. Also, I don't know where they get their honey mustard but that thing is Crack. So good! Best Cajun fries I've had. Lastly, they have way more boba options than most places like Cherry Bloom Boba. So unique!I took away 1 star because they don't have BROWN SUGAR BOBA.
