It was a hot day and we were looking for a decent but not overpriced restaurant in the uptown Charlotte area. This place fit the bill. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious. I ordered the nacho skillet. Since it was lunchtime, it was very crowded inside and quite noisy. Difficult to hear the rest of my group speak. Other than that, it was a great choice. If I lived in the area, I would visit there again.

When we found this Gem we knew this was now our go-to for Mexican food. The food does NOT disappoint! From tacos to burritos to the bowls of just about anything. I won’t say anything about the service other than, don’t go planning on having good timely service. That’s the only way to leave disappointed. Enjoy the food, when it gets there, and plan on making an evening of it. P. S. Don’t get drinks unless you sit at the bar.

I found this place on a whim because my bus was delayed. I had some time to spare. I'm so glad I cane to this place. The ambiance was amazing. The food was great and the Paloma I had was quite refreshing. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. I walked so I'm not sure about parking.

Fantastic vibe! Food was phenomenal! The service here was great! They gave me a piece of cake for my bday. It was a great time. Good prices too!

I love Que Onda! Me and my French Bulldog friends go every other Sunday! The food is always on point and the service, so accommodating and friendly! The steak nachos are incredible - not chewy but crispy and lots of cheese and guac/ . Love the tacos too. I usually substitute fries for the rice and beans. They have crispy, well seasoned fries! They make a delicious spicy margarita too! Thx Juan and your fantastic staff!!!

Overall it wasn’t good… we were able to be seated immediately but it took forever for our server to come and take our drink & appetizer order. When he finally brought the waters.. he brought us chips & no salsa. When he did come back around with the salsa we ordered quesabirria for the appetizer. However, we never got the appetizer because he forgot to put in the order… I ordered the chimichanga & it was disappointing. Not even a chimichanga really… just a burrito stuffed with beans, meat and way to much rice. I don’t even think it was fried. The queso on top honestly tasted like velveeta… ew. It was just so DRY.. & lacking flavor. The salsa was the most basic flavorless salsa I’ve ever had. We also had the margaritas, our server took so long in between check ins that someone else took our drink order… the margaritas were… not good … then I had to ask at least 4 different times for straws..because he kept forgetting… and getting distracted smoking his vape by the bar & socializing with the other servers. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Wonderful place. We loved it immediately. We had a terribly long wait for a server to come to our table. But our server turned things around with kindness and positivity. I hope to return to this place in the near future. We had $5 margaritas since it was the daily special. We also had amazing tacos!!! Definitely check this spot out if you’re looking for atmosphere and food

Never been disappointed with the food or service. Love this place!

This was my second time here and it was definitely better than my first time. We had the appetizer sampler and the combo tacos (where we could pick which types of tacos we wanted). We ate practically all of it because it was so good. The restaurant was extremely busy so it took a little while to get our food. The app came out at the same time as the tacos so it felt like we had so much food.I would definitely come back. They had a lot of good items on their menu. Also check out their drink / food specials because they have something every day. On Friday it’s $5 gold margaritas.

When the bar runs out of limes... this is what you get. Server was great so this review isn't for him, host was rude and the food was blah. Queso watery, guaca lacked salt and just flavor, Pico was probably cut 4 days prior the tomatoes were mush.
