I love Popeyes but this location must be the most ghetto Popeyes know to mankind. Items never instock. And on top of that the employees can't comprehend a simple drink order but quick to get smart. Pick a struggle. You either get smart & get my order right or humble yourself when you get my order wrong. And this is 1 review but years of going to this half backwards Popeyes. The franchise owner should be sued for representing Popeyes like this. It doesn't make any sense
Employees are very rude & highly unprofessional. Ordered 2 large shrimp meals which came in a baby box just the stale shrimp & biscuits. Small fries which where old. Was told only drinks they have are Tea, Lemonade & water. When the cashier at the window had another female come over & explain. The dinner only comes in one size & sides are large. Which was a lie cause my sides where small as well. They ran out of mac n cheese. I called to speak to management. The guy was just as rude in customer service or whomever he was. I asked was he the manager. He replied rudely how can I help. A friend warned me not to go. Understandable why the location is below. Everything is ran below standard a from food to the employees & management. Just a friendly word. Pull it together before the door has a CLOSED sign.
I waited in line for 20 minutes and was unable to order food. The screen is black and after holding at speaker for 7 minutes and saying hello over and over I went ahead and pulled up to the window. The manager Zymirah Joseph said the headphone went dead. I wanted to order but was told that I had to go back around another worker came up and both asked me to move. I refused until I made this complaint the second lady denied that the headphones went dead and proceeded to call the police. Completely unacceptable. I will also leave a Google review. Even though this establishment is in the hood doesn't mean jobs should be given to ppl with no customer service. Ms. Joseph said the owners name was Angel. Angel- please hire better!!! Thanks
Unfortunately wasn't happy today with the meal. The cashier was very friendly but the staff didn't take directions very well. I heard her call out Classic Chicken Sandwich, no pickle and when I got home what did I get? You guessed it, pickle with a lot of mayo. Made the bread side with the pickle soggy. Had to throw it away. Also a taste of pickle on the chicken which I don't like. They are also serving Mac and Cheese as a side now. Literally maybe 2 tablespoons. Not worth it.
Staff is very rude and slow, I've been to alot of Popeyes but this was just sad. I did a mobile order and they completely messed the order up an made us wait 20+ minutes at the order window before even saying anything. The only reason why I'm not giving one star is because the gave us additional food due to the inconveniences and Popeyes granted me a refund due to what happened at the location.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to write this review, I’m very disappointed in the staff at this location.During my visit I was using coupons I received in the mail. I greeted the lady and proceeded to order. She cut me off before I could tell her what my coupon said ( she asked for the numbers) I told her the number on my coupon and it wasn’t what I wanted so I informed her that the coupon didn’t match what I was reading. She got upset with me and told me (“ well ma’m that’s what the coupon number say”) I told her there were 2 numbers on the coupon and I could provide her with the other one( which worked) I asked her to repeat my order back and she stopped talking to me. I continued to say hello until I got a response. She came back and said (“I got what you want …. I’m the manager I got it”) but that’s not what I had asked. She clearly was being hostile and disrespectful. When I arrived at the cracked open window, she was telling a younger staff to tell me they no longer had what I ordered since I had an attitude with her.At this moment I was very upset and confused on why she was trying to change my order, the younger employee came to the window and told me exactly what the lady said (“we don’t have tenders all we have is thighs”) I heard her tell the girl to say it so I asked her (“what is the problem, why are you trying to change my order”)The lady who took my order rolled her eyes at me and begin to yell. Telling me I had an attitude with her and I was yelling at her but I had not.She kept yelling over me and I couldn’t explain to her. She then accused me of lying about my coupon number and I had the coupon in hand trying to show her it had 2 codes.I began to become very anxious and have a panic attack.I yelled “stop I have anxiety I just want to make sure my order is right” then another worker who appeared to be a manager, came to the window trying to help. At this point I was in tears because 1. My 1 year old daughter was right in front of me (I was in the backseat) 2. Anxiety/ postpartum 3. I had no Intentions to argue with this lady 4. This had been my first time out the house in awhile. I just wanted to eat .The lady who took my order told the younger girl to close the window. Although the window was closed the lady continued to laugh and make fun of the things I told her.When the manager came back she told me that their system messed up the coupon code and I was correct. But behind her was the rude lady saying and I repeat (“why are you being soo hostile….i have anxiety “)At that point I was thinking oh my goodness this lady is really making fun of me and my disability.I literally cried all the way home.I could only imagine how they would’ve treated a person who had a disability just as severe as mine. I’m disgusted at this place and the whole staff! No one corrected her ! No one wanted to tell me her name !I was clearly in distraught… I will never ever come here again and I will be reporting this to Corprate and the BBB.(The lady in the red turban needs to be FIRED! )*the other manager is holding all my coupons in her hand in the photo
Super friendly staff! Went through the drive thru and the food came out very quickly. Best fast food experience I've had in quite a while.
This particular Popeye's was terrible. I ordered ahead an hour in advance, and still waited 30 minutes past my scheduled pickup time. The service was bad, and the food was even worse. So bad, we may never go to Popeye's again. Too many inconsistencies from restaurant to restaurant. The one constant is bad service.
Why would you serve a portion of this size as a side order….might as well name it sample. I know this can’t be the corporate way. I’ll just keep going to Chik Fil A…..
I have a retired militarty id card, popeyes gives a mil disc, I went thru the drive thru at the Albemarle Rd location on Friday, January the 14th, 2022 around 1:30 pm placed my order and as I always do let them know that I have a mil id, I get to the window flashed my card, the cashier said let me see it, she examined it front and back and said it does not have an expiration date, I said ma'am the expiration date is in the front and its indefinite, she said no, it should have a expiration date, I said ma'am, my card has an infinite expiration date she proceeded to say I had one last week and the date expired and that the store had rules I said ma'am I have used my card here before and have never had an issue, she proceed to tell me she has been doing this a long time, she said this is my store and this store has rules I said well forget about the discount she said I'm going to give it to you this time so we can stop going back and forth , I asked for the receipt and I would be contacting corporate , she said this is my store and if you call it will get to her anyway. I let her know that this was the worst experience I had ever had coming to this location and I would not be coming back. I have reached out to corporate they have reached back out to me so I will see what happens.
