Being from Florida, I'm considered a "Country Girl". I love seeking out new places that give that southern country feel. Po Boy's does not disappoint. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by the staff. The menu is pretty cut and dry with tons of selections. Today I choose a Fried Swai Po Boy sandwich, with fries and a sweet tea. I decided to sit inside and enjoy my lunch. Let me tell you, the fish was so fresh and cooked to perfection. I haven't had a po boy this good since was last visit to BR. If your in the area and have a taste for fresh seafood do yourself a favor and stop in.
Seafood is very good ! A tad pricier than I expected but good! The Cajun shrimp is my favorite!
The fish was over cooked and hard we ordered the salt and pepper seasoning and it was very bland. No taste. The soft shell crab was just as bad no taste and fried way to hard.I won't be going back. I've tried them twice and both times were a miss for me
Really, really great seafood. We got the fried alligator po boy and fried shrimp (Cajun style for both), gumbo, dirty rice, and hush puppies. They were all phenomenal. Definitely check this place out!
The food was good, as was the service. You need to order online or call in your order. The gumbo was great. Get the po boy sauce if you like some spice. Well worth the stop.
When this restaurant opened the staff were extremely friendly, prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Over the years, EVERYTHING has changed. The prices are thru the roof!! Almost as if you are dining at a fine restaurant, and not fast food. The taste and seasoning are NOT good. The quality and quantity are poor. There are times when they weigh your food (fish) and add to the weight by using more than on tray increasing the price. I won't be going back.
I am a valuable customer at this location. But today was a horrible day. I placed a 30.00 order online and drove from university to get this fish. Unfortunately when I arrived after waiting in the restaurant for an hour. I was told they did not have a ticket for my order. I was livid. I always tip the ladies because they work very hard. However I was extremely upset because management could have at least came out and apologize or offer me a meal for next time. He said nothing. The nice lady at the register should be the manager because she is very polite and courteous. I was offered a refund but this was so unprofessional. And a waste of time and gas!
Poor Service. I am in the restaurant next in Line to make my to go order and was told, we are no longer taking any more orders. Since when does restaurants start turning away customers already in their establishment to place an order and mind you, I am there during publicized business hours. They do not pick up the phone to place an order so you are forced to drive to their establishment . Needless to say, they have received my last dollar and I will patronize restaurants focus a little more on customer service. Sometimes restaurants forget who made them successful . CUSTOMERS!!
The Cajun shrimp is delicious and the rest of the ingredients are fresh. The bread is crisp and the perfect size.
I'm from Florida and grew up eating fresh seafood. I can taste that their seafood is frozen. I paid $25 for fish and shrimp with 2 sides. The macaroni was bland and soupy. The green beans were delicious. Call in your order ahead of time to avoid a long wait.
