I actually we heading the fusion hamburger placed but it was closed. So I popped over to this place and they told me that they were a vegan place!! Well, whoth time ticking away and the fact I was sick of fast food chains, I ordered something they say is close to a hamburger. Yams and some other stuff on something.I was hesitant at first but hey I needed something to eat. It wasn't bad it is an acquired taste but I can see myself ordering again from this place again.I can only honest give it a 3 star since it was my first vegan place and I will need to aquire the taste for it. But the sandwich, if I can call it since I don't know what vegans call a sandwich ?, was tasty. ?Check out the menu and ask what comes close to what you like. Healthier than what is in the chain fast food places. Heck, give it a try. At least you won't get food posioning from a veggie!!Let see if they can bump the 3 stars to 4.Enjoy ?

Love the the food and the place. Delicious food an excellent service. The chickpea flour flat bread (called Faina in Argentina) was awesome. I will go back to try every item on their menu.

Plant Joy is the little vegan shop we needed in Charlotte. Shockingly, these homemade dishes were bursting with flavor and texture. The spinach and artichoke quiche was amazing. I never in my life thought a quiche would taste so good without the diary products. The cost was extremely responsible. I'm surprised they're not charging more considering the portion size. This is only a food stan, be mindful that it's pretty much take out whether you at it at Camp North End or home. The staff was extremely polite, helpful and sweet. You're even able to see images of the food in a binder proir to buying. Some question the quality of vegan food but this definitely helps you have a visual quickly dismissing the the its "grass" or "not filling" sigma around vegan food. Give Plant Joy a try.You won't regret it; even if you're not a vegan.

Got the Budda bowl and it was delicious. Cute area too.

I stopped here on my way through town and the food was excellent. Environment was very relaxing and fun, they had a musician playing guitar who was very talented. The next time I come back here I will stop by again.

I have to admit, even though I have been plant based for years, I hesitate before going to anyplace vegan. Plant Joy makes me want to rush back for more. The food is fresh, well prepared and delicious. The prices reflect the fact that much of it is scratch made and any home cook knows that's not cheap! The grilled greens sandwich is savory, flavorful and filling. And the cauliflower picatta portion packed a tangy punch. Enjoy!

The vegan nachos were good. I'm not vegan, but it was ok. The pita chips were too hard.

Very delicious. Great flavor. Tried the Falafel Tower, every bite was something yummy & different. No indoor seating as it’s just a little bar you order from, outside seating available.

I got to visit Plant Joy! It's a great food stand with very polite staff. The food was very flavorful. My friend and I made a sammy sampler and tried The Greens Sammy (my favorite) The Yam and Cheese sammy and The Mershroom sammy. I was struck by their menu which had a pay what you can plate and stated food is a human right. I just love that. I can appreciate a place that shows humans the same compassion as animals. I give 4 stars because they were out of some things I wanted to order. The Mershroom sammy that we ordered had a very heavy pickled flavor that just didn't quite set with my palate but my friend did like it so that's just me. If you're looking for a great vegan treat I would recommend.
