Parunivian style chicken. We usually have the chicken, rice and beans, plantains family style dinner. Feeds 3 to 4 adults for under 30 dollars.
Chicken wasn’t fresh and it was cold. I let the server know and she didn’t offer to get fresh chicken. She said I’m sorry. That’s what she didn’t get tip. I never received oil & vinegar for my salad. It was horrible. If you like old cold food and horrible service go. I will never go there again. I use to eat at the one off Lancaster Hwy a few times a week.I was really good back then. Unfortunately they closed.
Food is amazing. Service is also nice. They revamped the inside and it is a cozy spot to grab a meal.
I had the Montanero and it was delicious. The food was fresh and hot. The everything was amazing. The best part to me of the dish was the options. I get some rice, beans, plantains, eggs, steak and pork skins. WOW!! I will definitely go again.

I come to Pío Pío all the time . At least once a week . Usually a pleasurable experience. This last time , it sucked and that’s saying it politely. The wait staff were dumber than rocks, zero knowledgeable on the food and very slow workers. The chaufa which I always order tasted very bland . Very unhappy , considering on never returning .
Food was good only reason I didnt give it a 5th star the pork chop my girlfriend had was very tough other than that a good little place to eat at
We love Pio Pio and have eaten here for over seven years. We have been ordering from them a lot lately. We used the Chow Now service. When part of my order didn’t arrive I called Pio Pio to help. A female named Yearly was obstinate and plain ugly. She defended her employees which I understand but at some point good customer service is to make it right with the customer. I hate to write a bad review after such loyalty throughout the years. But this woman was so ugly and behaved like a teenager. We will never order from them again.
