I called to get a “landmark” for their location and the female that answered the phone while I was very rude and replied “You are calling us and asking where we are?” As a proud black man I will never beg someone to take my money!!! I was very polite and calm during the phone conversation. There are many of these places popping up spend your money elsewhere good people!!!
I've eaten a lot of pho in my days and was excited to try this new place. The broth was decent but the noodles were extremely crumbly (literally dissolved when put in mouth). Either it was overcooked, or been set out for a long time, or just a poor quality all together. Either way, it didnt help that is was also very overpriced - $17!! My boys had fried rice and the meat to rice ratio was extremely stingey. My daughter had the beef stir fry. Whereas, typical stir fry have an array of color - this dish was 60-70% celery. We had a large group and insisted on splitting the order. The waiter said it was too much trouble and ended up putting it all together. When we went to pay, we tried to have him parse the order out by family. Again, he said "Too much trouble, just split it." Keep in mind I had the larger family and it would be inappropriate to have the smaller family "split" the bill equally. He was rude and seemed to be in a rush despite it being pretty slow. Plenty of Pho joints in Charlotte that taste better and treat customers better. Go there..
Food is not good. The pho had a weird flavor. It was very salty but it didn’t taste like pho either. It’s like they dumped some pho mix and some extra msg in there. I’ve had much better pho. Customer service is also poor. I waited 10 minutes in there front before anyone helped me and I was just there to pick up my order ON TIME.
beef short rib was so good i wanted another ??? … i had small pho as well and im still hungry thats how good it was lol like wow
We ordered chicken Pho and Vegan Stir fry noodles. The food came pretty fast. The quantity is good and the taste is also decent.
I was so excited to try this restaurant but I digress. It was a horrible experience. First, let’s start with the no refund policy. Red flag! The food was cold. My husband called and they said to come back. We live 5 minutes away LITERALLY. They said the food was made to order. Impossible. If there is hot food in a bag then there would be moisture present. There was none. We were really nice about it when we called. They had also forget shrimp on his order of chicken vermicelli. The noodles for the PHO were over cooked. The limes were dry or either old. Lastly, they served spring rolls that were not deveined. Disgusting. I miss Mr. Pho because they were super clean and the food was superior. Finally, the manager or owner was defensive about our VALID complaints. She said she would issue a refund. I hope she does that right thing.
The food was fresh, hot, and very tasty. Affordable prices and friendly staff.
Awesome banh mi and rolls. Plenty of other good items on the menu, but it’s difficult to try other dishes when we like the sandwich so much!
Ordered carry out and the Pho broth was cold and smelled rancid. Also the order was incorrect. The only way I would rate this place higher is if I got a full refund because I threw away the entire order.
The atmosphere is nice and quiet during my visit for dinner. Maybe it was because of the pandemic that the portions were less enthusiastic. I did order a small bowl of Hu Tieu Mi do bien and the flavor was on par. Then when I ate the banh mi cha Lua and it was mostly bread with little filling. The part that I did eat, the taste was mediocre yet edible. I thought I would support this business during my visit but I will have to pass. Best of luck.
