We ordered catering, though our doubt was not told correctly. On mail, we are told that rice comes with TIkka Masala platter but it did not so we had to buy rice tray which was $15.Other than that, the food was very good though I wish we are told correctly next time

This is one of my favorite local Indian restaurants. The food here is amazing, especially the Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Paneer Tikka Masala. The naan is also a fantastic addition to any meal! If you are a fan of Indian food, this is a great place to be!

Amazing flavor, and spice are highlights of this neighborhood eatery. I'd recommend the Chili Shrimp, and Gobi Manchurian. Their Naan is tasty, and fresh as well!

Oh my goodness! ? Just had some of The MOST delicious Indian cuisine I've ever tasted. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and the Navrathan Korma and man oh man.... Simply Amazing! Thanks so much you guys. I've been frequenting Persis on and off for years and never got around to leaving a review but you guys ALWAYS give us top notch and extra tasty dishes and I can appreciate that as a foodie. Oh and they are always so nice and cordial every time I visit and even when they deliver! You guys rock! Thanks so much! Sorry I forgot to take pics, I ate it too fast ?

We ordered Gongura chicken and the dish was was prepared in tomato paste and gongura was added on top of it. It tasted like we were eating in tamarind paste. We said it was too sour for us and requested politely if we can replace, the answer given was “ if you don’t like it’s not our problem and I can’t waste food so can’t replace and we do it best and all other restaurants use gongura pickle to prepare this dish”. We understand you might think you are doing best but it doesn’t mean it’s apt for everybody apetite. If you don’t have minimum courtesy to offer other dish how do you expect us to come back just because you did best for yourself. Customer appreciation is “Appreciation” not self appreciation. Never going again. Thank you.

owner of the restaurant Mr. Kotaiah is very rude guy . He is not ready to take feedback from the customer. We ordered last night take out order.we called to offer feedback about what was wrong with his food but he didn't want to listen to feedback and he kept interrupting us and didn't let us talk. We ordered Gutti vanakaya curry but they supplied Vankaya tomato curry and when I asked him about this, he lied that they didn't mix tomatoes at all in that curry. My 2nd order was Malai kofta but kofta balls were raw and he lied that those kotfas were excellent and that they supplied same kofta balls to a catering order and that those customers said it was excellent. This a big, fat lie. Also their Naan was undercooked we had to bake the Naan again at my home last night. We got stomachache because of this food.If you value your health I suggest that you don't eat here!

Persi's is no longer any good. We ordered garlic and butter naan, Malai kofta and gutti vankaya curry. The naans were undercooked. The kofta was raw and the paneer inside the kofta was raw too. It felt like we were eating wet dough. Gutti vankaya means there has to be masala stuffed inside the eggplant but there was no masala in this curry. The chef just mixed tomato sauce with onions so this is just eggplant tomato curry. Nobody from Andhra will ever call this curry gutti vankaya curry.

Staff are friendly. Dishes are good and spicy. Prices are reasonable.

Boiled rice with chicken piece is not a biryani.Disappointed!

We ordered take out tonight. When we asked about spice levels they said 1-6, 6 being the hottest. We were driving back from Raleigh in the Mini Van while the order was being placed. My wife placed the order, we all listened as my wife repeatedly told him medium-spicy, we have kids so not too spicy but not sweet - which we explained when we placed the order. After getting home the food was so spicy the kids could not eat at all. My kids can normally eat somewhat spicy foods. Then we tried it. Food is so spicy, no one ate tonight. I can eat spicy food and it’s too spicy for me also. I can still eat it but it’s definitely too spicy. We called to let them know. The person that answered argued with my wife that 4 out of 6 means Indian spicy. That’s funny because I remember my wife clearly said 3-4 times medium-Spicy, not too spicy because of kids. We didn’t ask for Indian spicy. They made no attempt to offer to remake the order. They just blamed us, said “we make Indian spicy”. Keep in mind my wife said medium-spicy we have kids 3-4 times.Just for reference: they made no offer to refund or discount. We have no interest in getting anything for free.We just want what we paid for, clearly you can not get it at this place. We do not recommend this place. We won’t be back.
