HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, take out delivery!! We ordered two omelettes,one a Greek one and the other one the meat lovers Omelette. The Greek had no gyro meat, and the meat lovers had only ham....missed the other meats!! The French toast was so plain, the grits was the worse! It looked like playdough! Disgusting!! No more from this restaurant!! If they read this, I hope they pay attention when making the food and preparing the orders! !!
Delicious! We had the BLT, potatoes, eggs, sausage, pancakes, bacon, gravy, biscuits, hash browns...we are it Alllll. It was delicious, server was amazing, and price was right. We also picked up a cookie from the front...A+
The food was good. The atmosphere is like home, waitress was kinda slow and I just wanted to go to the kitchen and get what I needed!? Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Parkway House, a family restaurant that has good reputation and good food, let's start with the downsides so I don't get you bored reading this review, wait time for Overall food is at least 45 to an hour, most likely for a group of 3 or more, and at least 25 to 30 (or more depending if you order a ton) for take out, there's little to no Waitresses, and they aren't always available, they do sometimes check on you but it's like they disappear right after, so make sure to really look at the menu and order everything that'd you'd like or you'll be waiting for a long time after finishing your meal for a cake that you'll probably take home anyways since it's been too long, now time for the good things! First, their food is amazing, but this depends on people's taste pallette, they've got a wide range of food for you to try out, from pizza, wings, burgers, to Chicken parmesan, lasagna and sandwiches!but that's not all they serve of course, they serve cakes like rainbow ones! It's a family friendly establishment, the waitresses give you a long time to think about what you'd like, you can enter with casual clothing and nobody would think much of it, it's in a plaza and right next to a very busy road but it's still always quiet and it has a older look but still beautiful, it's like sitting down at a big diner down in Long Beach, it's amazing and I recommend coming to amaze your taste buds, you'll give those buds a good time! If I could give them a 5 for their wonderful server I would. Honestly I haven't ate here in about 5 years and I was expecting alot honestly. The original cooks I'm guessing definitely don't work there anymore. The inside was clean and very spacious they did a great job. Now the food is a slight pass for me. I anticipated great grits because that's what thet were known for. I ordered grits with cheese, eggs over medium restaurant style potatoes, liver mush and bacon. Y'all that livermush super thick hot like I like it. Eggs was perfect!!! Bacon crispy like my grandma used to make. Now them grits baby was cold and bland.. definitely not made to order and them potatoes were the same way. They were seasoned really good though. My twins however enjoyed their French toast and waffles juice. If you want a really good breakfast meal I'd say go elsewhere. But definitely an E for effort.
Ordered delivery from DoorDash for breakfast and it was amazing! Got the smoked sausage and cheese omelette and added tomatoes and onions to it. It was so so good. There was a promo code on DoorDash for 60% off the order of $20 or more so an amazing deal. I will definitely try them again and have a sit down meal.
Overpriced for serving size and quality of food prep . Best to eat in so you'll get better food and service. Breakfast/soup is ok. When I've ordered in the evening, after 4 to pick up, the food hasn't been good. Items missing. Pork chop dinner .. chops undercooked, rice hard. 1 spoon of gravy on a cup of rice. Other time was fried fish..so much batter hardly any fish. Lately, horrible food for the price. Been many times, recently mostly disappointed and with regrets. Not sure if mgmt changed. Staff seems to be dragging after lunch. Will stop going and recommending
Seems like Everytime I come to this restaurant I have an bad experience when there aren't and minority waitresses. Today on Sunday March 13 a waitress told me I was not allowed to sit at a unreserved table. When I questioned it she began to yell at me and tell me I was a joke. That I was important or smart enough to sit at the table in question. I then asked another waitress for assistance with the problem and she began to yell at me as well and state I can leave or just sit somewhere else until they decide to serve me. I really felt uncomfortable in this restaurant after coming here for over 20 years with family. I wouldn't recommend any one to this restaurant because of hostile customer service
Have been coming here for over 2 years and my husband and I have NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL!! We have tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner... We have always enjoyed the service and the meals. Thanks guys!
