Came to the store today, June 5th at 7:08am and was unable to place an order because there was no staff inside and the doors were closed. What kind of business are y’all operating? It was 7:21 before the person to open the store arrived and the staff members who were sitting outside was able to enter the store. At 7:27 I had to knock on the windows 3 times before a staff came and acknowledged me, this person seems to be the Manager who lie about the system being down. Very poor service!!
My husband is a Veteran. This weekend was my 2nd time visiting Charlotte, NC. Today is sad for many, and Panera Bread made this an even more sad experience. I've had dozens of meetings at Panera, sometimes I ordered & sometimes I didn't. Oftentimes this was based on ? Vegan options available. At this location, you MAY NOT visit friends/biz associates here unless making a purchase. You CANNOT use the restroom WITHOUT A CODE. Also, if your time extends beyond 1.5 hours, you MUST purchase something else to stay another 1.5 hours. I spoke to manager for an explanation of these procedures and she was nice about it. She explained this was going to happen with all Charlotte Panera Breads eventually because of phenomenon happeningin the area. Don't Take My Word For It, See photos.So Long Panera & Best Wishes.
This is a good Panera. I've come here multiple times. Order is usually ready for pick up on the scheduled time and employees appear to be working hard to fill orders. Nice indoor seating. The parking lot in the back can be a bit cramped so I'd recommend using the larger one.
Did curbside today for lunch, after I got the notification my order was ready, no one came out for a good 10-15 min afterwards. Only reason why I deducted one star. Other than that the food was awesome. Tried the new Thai chicken soup and the flavors are absolutely amazing together. Was very pleased with it.
I have always been a big Panera fan but recently the quality has went far down hill. One positive that I always experience at this location is the fact that the employees are always so kind! This week I went to this location and ordered a sandwich and soup and my total was $15. The soup portion size was very small and the taste was awful. The sandwich wasn't as bad but still wasn't worth the price. I have been very disappointed in Panera's recently and I hope they can adjust their processes to be good again!
When you order through the Dashapp for deliveries it does not give you certain options so, we call the restaurant and no one ever, ever answers the phone. They always get our order wrong like dried bread and or when ordering the bread soup bowl they send a cup instead. Tuna is a simple small scoop and should be two. We call to make sure they make it correctly but we can never ever get through!! Smh we tip very well and do not mind paying extra but at least make the orders correctly and answer the phone!
My first encounter here on Tuesday of this week was not good. When I first sat down at my booth there were crumbs all over the floor. In addition to crumbs being all over the floor I had ordered contactless dining so I went up to the counter to receive my food, however when I brought my food back to my table I looked at the silverware that was laid out on the plate and it had food on it. Just as if someone had already used the spoon for their soup previously. I brought my food back to the counter and the lady gave me a plastic spoon and a plastic fork. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt however when I returned to that same Panera today I was there for less than five minutes before I ended up having to leave. I was just about to place my order from my phone when I saw a MOUSE scurry across the floor. FYI this is on the right hand side as soon as you walk into the Panera from where there is a patio area outside. I am extremely DISGUSTED! I packed up my things went to tell the cashier and left. I will call corporate first thing in the morning seeing they were in “high call volume”. This is a disturbing sign of poor maintenance and housekeeping.
To the young man who I spoke to today in the restaurant, THANK YOU. I had significant issues with my order when I ordered from door dash, the kitchen is understaffed and working as hard as they can so mistakes are bound to happen. It took a couple tries but once I got someone on the phone I was grumpy and this young man helped me by reordering my food and promising it with speed and accuracy. When I arrived at the restaurant I was accommodated and given a wonderful meal and kind words. I appreciate your grace with the situation I know it isn’t always easy especially in the service industry. I’m now a very happy customer and that young man deserves the world. Thanks!

this store is NOT the store to go to.i ordered a iced caramel latte and a iced chocolate latte. both came out darker than usual and incredibly bitter. we waited about 25 minutes while those who ordered after us got full blown MEALS before us. i get it, with covid and understaffing issues, but it does not take longer to make two iced drinks.the biggest mistake if you ask me was not telling me they have NO STRAWS. nobody bothered to tell us that we had no straws before we ordered, it was written no where with no warning. how can expect people to drink lattes with NO STRAWS? absolutely horrible service. i would not recommend eating here at all.
