Food was hot. They also give you a lot of food. The egg roll didn't make it home. This is the second time ordering from here. I will definitely order again. I enjoyed it.
Year 2022Was at pagodas to pick upAn order of pepper SteakSome time ago....Once I had gotten home that evening after work and tiredI noticed that they only put in 3 pieces of mystery meat very small strips that did not taste like steak at all and was very tough and chewy. I called to explain about the issue was told to bring in and the slim asian woman who works there and answers the phone was yelling and asked why I ate some of the food? I let her know that's what I ordered the food for in a nice tone and how else would I have known unless I attempted to eat the food? After work people are hungry and they eatThere's no reason to lie about what we pay forTo have pagodas NOT put in the proper amount of meat that they should as well as the right type of meat not something that is similar or bogus tasting because it didn't taste like steak.....I was given back just a few dollars of my purchase amount and spoken to very DISRESPECTFULLY AND YELLED AT!!!An adult who spoke with respect and paid for a whole dinner and not just 3 pieces of whatever bogus chewy supposed to be meat that was!!!! I only asked that they replace the proper amount of meat like any other restaurant in a nice way.......no wonder sometime ago they received a low rating from the state......now this was proofNo more business with disrespectful pagodas employees or their fake steak!!!!! Not worth the headache or sickness or disrespect especially when they are in the wrong wrong wrong....No.....not having it!!!!There are other nearby restaurants who have employees who are more respectful the food is real and taste good and better prices right there in Davis lake shopping center golden express and the one next to that one called lotusPlay at your own risk!!

Food was great tasting and great price. I got plenty of food for the price i paid and i had my food delivered by door dash and it was still fresh and hot the best tasting Chinese food since I been in Charlotte 10/10

This place is horrible I ordered beef fried rice the beef was grey not even cooked they. Won't get another penny of my money the lemonade omfg taste like boat water I wouldn't. Feed this to my dog
If you don't see the Pagoda and/or the neon open sign, it'd be extremely easy to drive right past this little gem.Except for the line of cars parked out front, other cars in the parking lot that are anxiously awaiting for "their 15 minutes" to expire(usually less),or the people standing in close proximity to the front door, while others walk hurriedly past you with overly laden white plastic bags. As well as the fantastic smells of made to order to go trays that are filled to overflowing. Now you know that you are at Pagodas.No frills would be and understatement. The front entrance is covered in signs, menus, hours of operation that have been scratched through, in testament to the confusion and devastation that the covid-19 pandemic has wrought upon almost every single business in the United States.I for one, am very happy that this particular business has both survived and even thrived.Once inside the very front of the restaurant, it is completely walled off from any outside contact whatsoever. There is a handy wooden box, that you both pay and receive your food through.Within 30 seconds of coming into the front, a very petite lady is hurrying to greet you and take your order as she is putting on her mask. Efficient is the first word that leaps into my mind. She takes your order, makes your change for you and tells you 15 minutes as well. Then goes in back and will begin cooking as well.Everyone adheres to the unspoken eticate of distance and spacing.My go to is the 4 very large whole chicken wings, with chicken fried rice and eggroll. These are crispy, moist juicy and filling.These wings aren't the flats or drumettes that you've been paying upwards of 2$+ apiece for.If you like wings, these are what you've been looking for.
