Great service.. great food.. Nicely prepared twisted ribs, steak, mac n chz, & loaded baked potato.. I definitely enjoyed it!!

Location 8405 Ikea Blvd Charlotte NC5/15 @20:04 according to receipt. My family and I were visiting Charlotte and stopped at the restaurant before heading home two and a half hours away. The food and the server Julia s. gave good service , however my daughters both went to the women's restroom and came back complaining the bathroom was disgusting and if I have planned to use it don't (this was 20 minutes before I decided to contact the manager and let him know). I spoke to the manager on duty and he told me the restaurant was slammed that day but the bathrooms have been checked every 15 minutes (which was not true) and that staff had just been in the bathroom to clean it (not true). Based upon what he said I expected to find a clean bathroom but was shocked by what I saw, it was disgusting, I was not happy that he was not being truthful I took pictures- there was toilet paper everywhere except on the roll, dirt hair garbage on toilet seat, no napkins , broken soap dispenser, and filthy floors. As I was walking outside the restaurant I took another photo of the overflowing trash can directly in front of the restaurant entrance. I will never return to that restaurant and probably the health department needs to take a visit there as well, very disgusting and not acceptable there are no excuses.
I had a salad one visit and grilled chicken the best. Both visits were around 2:00. Service was great.
Order 4 teas 3 of the teas tasted like unsweetened and we were giving sweeter. Order fried mushrooms they were ok. I order a salad, steak and bake potatoe. I was half way done with my steak finally the waitress brings out my bake potatoe after asking about it. Didn't really care for the steak it was to tuff. The other person in my party order a Classic Prime Rib steak and veggies instead she got a Prime Rib sandwich. Not going back to Outback. I rather go to Texas Road house anytime at lease they bring out what you order.
The greeter was argumentative about seating a party of 4. We asked for a booth since the restaurant wasn’t filled. It was clearly 9 booths available my husband is tall and he doesn’t like much attention sitting in the middle of the restaurant. The manager was extremely nice and sat us at one of the tables I suggested the first time. I understand if there weren’t any servers for that section the professional response should have been, let me see what I can do and go ask? Not argue with a paying customer regarding a reasonable request. It was my Suns birthday so we had a host he was nice but literally brought us food with no napkins or silverware. I had to go and retrieve some napkins while we waited. Overall a 3 because the waiter and the manager did try to make up for the experience at the door. The food was pretty good overall and the service was ok.
We both had the prime rib with baked potatoes. The owner realized that it had been several minutes since we had been seated. He came over and apologized and offered a free appetizer. The food was delicious. Service was in training and was making a good effort.
Food was good. Appetizer came out in less than 5 minutes. That was a plus as these days I've gotten my appetizers just minutes before my meal or with it. Kind of defeats the purpose lol. They were under staff as most places are these days, but they did very well. Loved the wings. Waiter was nice.
Love stopping in here when I go to the IKEA nearby. The food is on par with other Outback Restaurants and it’s consistently good. What makes this location a stand out is the staff. They are always so upbeat, quick, and always go above and beyond to give everyone a great experience. Management has this location staffed well! Great job!!
I had a much better experience this time overall then the last time I was at outback. The one bad thing was that I did not get the Caesar salad that came with my meal. I didn't realize it until after I had gotten home. The manager seem nonchalant about it and just told me to stop by the next day to pick it up. I didn't get a chance to go because it's kind of out of my way. I think the proper thing to do would have been to credit my card or have some sort of system to where you can properly make things right with the customer. He stated there was none. Otherwise drinks were good my server was the best. We were very large party and he was the only one working with us and often kept forgetting things but he had the sweetest attitude. Food tasted fresher and better than the last time I was here.
