Best fried chicken!!!! This place is pickup only and I always call to place my order. If line busy just wait or go and order in person. The food is ALWAYS fresh I’ve never got cold or old food over the years of going here. The chicken is seasoned and fried to perfection. I also LOVE the jumbo shrimp they have so good! The sides are great the only thing I wouldn’t order again is the greens they have sugar in them. Im not a fan of sugary/sweet collards but if you are then give them a try. Poundcake is dry and also I don’t eat pork anymore but hands down they have the BEST pork chop sandwich in Charlotte!!! Have to try this place for yourself.
WOW.. I hadn't been here in over 20 years. Glad I stopped. Food is delicious, very well prepared. Fast ,efficient and very affordable. Very clean modern ...another hidden gem in the Queen City.
Chicken and Rib is a good restaurant to go to when you don't want to cook anything for today they have new people working in there and the way they redid the restaurant it is very nice on the inside and the new people that work in there is very nice people but the only thing they don't sell anymore that I used to buy when I went there I've been going there for years but they don't sell the poor boy sandwich anymore and that was the number one sandwich that I used to buy when I go in there the lady said that the reason why they don't sell the poor boy sandwich anymore is because they did not make a whole lot of sales from people buying the poor boy sandwich so they quit selling it but everything else on the menu is very good so please try this restaurant and try the Cherry Fanta soda it is so good that's what I get when I go there.
Not worth it. If you gone charge $10 for a 4 wing dinner at least let it come with a drink or bigger wings. These little wings look like giant pennys. I could send to American deli and got 10 wings,fries, and a drink for the same price
This was my first time to the business, the young lady who took my order got a lil agitated with me. I’m sooooo glad, I didn’t let that bother me. I definitely will be back, I know how it go now. I ordered a four piece chicken dinner with baked macaroni and baked beans. It tasted like my grandma fried that chicken, the macaroni and beans were both slamming. I’ll definitely be back?????
Reason for my one star is because customer service was bad today they know who they are first shift morning. 4/21/22 11:30am Like how yall skip over me so many times when y'all told me I only had a little while to wait.then when I asked them both about my order they looked at me like I was crazy and said I don't even know what your order is!!! yelling at me to tell them my ticket number. Food is good but.... I'll rather go somewhere else or cook my own food where I know I'm welcome.
This is a chicken place. Fresh fried chicken. The sides are awesome. You get the whole wing as 1 not a piece of the wing.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the fried chicken and macaroni and cheese here. The homemade cream cheese poundcake is what continues to draw me back. Authentic just like Mom's.
Consistently fantastic food- every single visit. This has become my go to for soul food. Add some more green veggies please ?!
