I’d like to think of Oh My Soul as the heart of NoDa. They have delicious food, good looking pastries and a vegan deli. Dogs are allowed inside and outside. Make sure to check out their events schedule; they always have something planned during the week!Their food is expensive but it makes sense since their vegan food is creative, fresh and innovative. Even if you’re not a vegan, you should go try it!!
This place is fabulous! Great variety of choices, friendly staff, fast service, and reasonable prices. ? we really enjoyed the live music, the guy who they hired to play live music was fantastic! This place is fun, funky and 100% vegan... 100% will return again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
What an incredible vegan meal and experience!!! My non-vegan partner found this place via Google. The neighborhood was SO cute! I'll admit that I was overwhelmed when I walked in. A huge menu, dessert counter, and a vegan meat and cheese counter. Where to begin?! A lovely gentleman, perhaps the owner, was so kind and gracious to show us around, let us sample some vegan cheeses, and gave his top recommendations. We ordered the spicy nachos and a meat and cheese platter because we've never seen it anywhere else. We grabbed some beverages and went out to their huge covered patio area that was so cute and welcoming. The food was mind-blowing! My partner even said his meat eating group of friends would like the spread. We grabbed a banana pudding and lemon berry trifle to go. Both were good, but I LOVED the lemon berry most. We already told some friends and family in the state about it. Delish!!! We will be back if we are ever in Charlotte again!
This place is the bomb. Such delicious vegan comfort food. The owner was super friendly. Cannot wait to take my dad here when he visits as he is South African. I really can't fault it. I saw some others complaining about the slow service...but everywhere is slow right now...since the great resignation it's impossible to find workers. Everyone is spread thin and I will quite happily wait a little longer for the standard and quality of food they brought out to my friend and I. Oh and like all the staff were SO SO NICE. Please open up one of these in Asheville. Thank you!!!
Fantastic place. Matches or beats all the vegan cuisine in L.A.Its in Noda which is always crowded and the streets are not well designed. The restaurant looks like a house buts it's designed fantastically. Especially lovely outdoor dining in spring.The place was very busy but somehow the food was served very quickly !The proportions are appropriate besides the macho nacho which are amazingly large.The Madiba was great. The fish and chips are good too, and I'm always hesitant to eat vegan sea food.
I pass by here all the time and was always so curious .I am not vegan yet but I enjoy good food and vegan options .I was open to trying something different but ended up ordering safe in case I didn't like it. Brought a friend that night , she is 100 % vegan and was visiting from NY . We had gotten there and l tables were taken so we had to wait . There was a bit of a mix as to us dining in or take out , we were told we could wait , the waitress who were seating people even spoke to us and said we would be number two.. Maybe she forgot but over all we got seated and because of the mix up our food wasn't hot . very much pricey but the food wasn't bad . I will try their brunch menu next time .
First Time visiting Oh My Soul and will not be my last. Visited today with a co-worker and not being vegetarian, but he was it was awesome. I had the Hippie Chik (no bun)with Onion Rings and if I could have licked the plate, I would have. It was slightly spicy which I knew and love hot foods but not at all overpowering. Food choices are amazing! Food quality is good. I wish they can add more non fried dishes but will go there again and again for good vegan food. Attendance person was one of the most nicest person I met. Really caring staff who wants to work there!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Our food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and comfortable with lots of seating outdoor. The menu offers a wide variety, and they also have sweets that all look fantastic. Depending on the day and time of your visit, parking could be difficult, so plan ahead. You won’t regret making a stop here!
