Cute little place in a tiny parking lot. Rather hard to get to, depending on which direction you're coming from.Actual food is fantastic and endlessly customizable. I got a bubble waffle, with matcha soft-serve, mochi, green tea pocky, and condensed milk. Waffle was eggy, and crunchy even at the bottom of the cup. Very satisfying to break off the bubbles and dip them in the icecream. The soft-serve is made to order so it was smooth all the way through. The food took a little while to get out, but everything is made to order and assembled by hand, so it is worth it.
The Hawaiian Queen ice cream was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS as expected. The matcha milk tea was good. My daughter wasn't a fan of the matcha tea, but it was good to me.She got the strawberry slushy and she likes it.I must said it was pretty slow and it took a while to get our stuff.Other than that everything was good.
The owners really need to brush up on their phone, and website. Can't order online. You can't call to make orders. Voice mail is never set up. No one answers the phone. Poor business operations if you can't set up your voice box or answer phone calls. This is so they can up their services. I love their drinks but the service needs improvement. I will take off the one star once they fix this.
My first visit to Ocha Time. I had the rolled Vietnamese Coffee ice cream. It was light, tasty and fun to eat. I love the location in Plaza Midwood and will return to try the teas and other ice cream flavors.
Best boba in Charlotte. Love that they have dairy free options and their drinks are unique and always so good. Im always torn between trying something new and getting what I always get. :’) Matcha dark brown sugar and green goddess are my go tos but just tried their Thai green milk tea and am obsessed!!
We chose to visit this place after coming across it on Instagram. Upon entering, we were not greeted nor asked if we had any questions about the menu. The two employees looked at us as we waited to be acknowledged. The low rating is due to lack of customer service and sanitation standards. I witnessed an employee using a dirty napkin to wipe off the knife that was used to cut the bananas for my ice cream. Needless to say we won’t back. I had high hopes for this establishment.
Ocha time is an adequate boba place in Charlotte. I had their matcha strawberry and it was decent but I wish it had more matcha flavor. The strawberry saved the drink for me. I had their soft serve and it was pretty good. I'm not the biggest fan of tapioca, but my friends said their tapioca pearls are good. My friend had the avocado which was amazing! Definitely a solid place to get boba.
great options for milk teas:) i got the dark brown sugar milk! with oat milk. staff was friendly and helped me pick out a drink! will be coming back to try their rolled ice cream and fruit teas :)
I love this tea spot in Plaza Midwood. I have gone here quite often for tea and once for ice cream. They have a happy hour special T-Th 12-3 with 25% off which is a nice deal to me. Many options and toppings to choose from. You are even able to adjust sweetness and ice levels for some.A great spot to try!
THEY HAVE VEGAN MILK OPTIONS (including oat milk) Many places have soy (which I stay away from personally) and Almond milk as the only dairy free options. Almond milk it's not good to me in boba. It lacks the creaminess that oat milk and coconut milk have. However, I've ordered from here MANY TIMES.I took away one star because:They don't have the bursting fruit bobaThey don't deliver with UberEats, Postmates, DoorDash...etc. although their parent company does (literally next door).
