Absolutely enjoyed the New York Diner! The food was delicious and the waitress provided outstanding service! Looking forward to going back soon! I tried the chicken ranch wrap first! I hope to try their breakfast next! Thanks y'all!... Had the Philly Steak wrap today... Not a 5 star experience but definitely 5 stars on the food! I'll be back! Thanks again y'all!
Tried this for the first time a few days ago and enjoyed the experience more than I had anticipated. I had the pancake combo with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and grits. Everything was tasty and I plan to visit again in the future.
850 am on 3/25/22 Great Breakfast egg white omelette fresh fruit turkey sausage and coffee 16.72. Waitress Adamaris very nice will be returning my first time here should have posted food lol?
Moved to the neighborhood and finally made it to New York Diner. One of the reasons it took me so long was I had seen online that they close at 3. They close at 8 during the week and close at 3 on the weekend. I went around 3:15, and it was very slow. The ladies working there were nice and helpful. I ordered a lamb (naturally) gyro and fries to go. The sandwich and fries were both fresh and hot. All of the meat was tender- not dried out, as was the bread. I order extra tzatziki, because I hate a dry sandwich, but I did not need it. They serve a smaller steak fry- I prefer crinkle- but they were right out of the fryer. It came to just under $10. I will definitely be back. It was delicious!
From day one when I first dined there the food was fantastic and the service. They have not changed from day one. I had the Mediterranean breakfast with home fries but before I had the grits, wonderful. Coffee is great, service is always nice and polite.
Takes me back to the deli’s in NY❤️ Bacon, egg & cheese for breakfast! Chicken cutlet or Philly cheese steak can’t go wrong! So happy I tried it!

It's been quite a while since I've taken the time to go out for breakfast (albeit a late one). But this meal was definitely worth the wait. Breakfast specials are good until 11am. After this time, the price goes up approximately 1$. I ordered extras including orange juice, coffee and extra meats and the price for both of us was still under 24dollars. Which was pretty extraordinary given the large portions that we were served.The restaurant was pretty busy the entire time that we were there. But the amount of to go orders dwarfed the dining in patrons considerably.The thing that I most enjoyed was the size of the booths. They were quite expansive and allowed you plenty of room. My friend is 6'8" and he even commented on the amount of room available in the booths. Unlike most other restaurants, where you are cramped into a seating area. The booth seats were comfortable and nicely padded. The restaurant and restrooms were all very well-maintained and clean. The lighting in the restroom was motion sensor activated, as were the paper towel dispensers. Awesome. The taste of home right here in Charlotte. What’s better than that. Well I’ll tell you. Nothing. Banging spot and I can’t wait to come back. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak. Awesome. I’ll be back soon. Gotti Kid out!!!
