The cook was funny and friendly food was delicious

Top notch food and service. We had a party of six and everyone had a great experience. The filet and shrimp couldn't have been better. The salmon got great reviews from our table and the sushi that was boxed up to take home didn't make it through the night. This is definitely a place to visit again the next time we are in the area.

My go to Japanese restaurant with best sushi bar in the north charlotte. The host and servers are sweet and provide the best service. Ambience is great with large area for hibachi grill stations and separate sushi bars. All in all a wonderful place for a dine out.

Came here for a birthday celebration. The cook was nice and that’s where it ends. The food was VERY bland. You can get better Japanese at your local mall food court. I do not recommend. Not to mention there is an 18% gratuity added on your bill and they also recommended another tip on your receipt. I would NEVER go here again. I’ll make the food myself first.

LOVE this place!! My boyfriend and I come here very often. Their food is so good, best hibachi and sushi we've had, and it's good every time! The staff is so nice and our food is always served quickly. We've never done a reservation for the hibachi tables, we just do the first come first serve seating in the sushi bar area. We've never had to wait for a table. It can be as pricey as you want it to be. Regular hibachi entrees run about $24+ and sushi is about $7.50+ a roll. WORTH the price, and so many leftovers!! Plus their pan fried pork dumplings are to die for!? Highly recommend Nakato for both a casual dinner or a dressy date!!

good service, delicious recommended

Great food. Friendly employees.

The Cook ws Awsome,Talented, & Funny ??

Chef was good prepared lobster incredibly not dry perfect seasoning and steak perfect. Noodles a little disappointing had more black pepper than I've ever had before. Also didn't care to pay extra for friend rice. In the big picture not a big deal. Over all pretty good.

Very good place to eat and nice cooking show. But the only thing that kinda turned us off was with their chicken. We were accustomed to the white meat chicken that they used to serve but now they bring out dark meat which may be fine to some people but we were used to the leaned white meat chicken. Other than that, the overall experience was great and food is good here.
