Cool place, with awesome pizzas that you can configure. Good beer too. My kids love the place because they go crazy making their own pizzas!
First time eating here. I chose to eat here because they had plant based, but when I asked for plant based they said they do not have any. Then the said they don't have it ready. So of course I'm disappointed. And the staff's personality was just not quite there. Anyway those are my thought. Do better
If you haven't tried this place then your missing out !!! Great pizza !!! The only thing we didn't like was that all of the tables were sticky. Idk what type of cleaner they use but maybe they should use a better cleaner . Something more suitable for the wood top tables.
I only have 1 day off every other week, Tuesday. So, I made it an unofficial tradition to enjoy my Tuesday at Mod Pizza. This location is the only one I have issues with. I was the first customer there on 2-22-22. The older lady is a black woman with short gray hair unfriendly and rude. I walked in with her on the phone, and I greeted her. The first thing she said was, "What do you want?" angrily. I picked up on it but brushed it off since I was heading somewhere else.After she placed the pizza in the oven, I could hear her muttering something under her breath. Then comes to the register to ring me out. I only had cash at the time, and she was mad about the change situation. I couldn't help that. I got my change from her and headed over to sit and wait for my pizza, and I remembered I like Pesto on my pizza after it comes out. So I simply ask, "oh I'm sorry, can you add pesto when I comes out?"The look she gave me was that of someone insulting her family to her face. "What!!??" she said. I'm taken aback by the aggressive tone, but rather than escalate the issue, I just repeat my request. When the pizza came out and was done, she slammed on the overhead and said aggressively, "it's done." I'm wondering what I did to warrant this behavior. All I did was walk into the restaurant in a great mood, but I left furious.Lady, if you're not having a good day, stay the hell home. Don't infect other people with your bad attitude.
This was our first time trying MOD. It was a fun build your own pizza experience. The staff was patient and friendly. The dough machine was interesting ? but the pizza base was not so palatable. The store wasn't really clean either. I think this was a one and done deal for us. I'd rather order a pizza from a local pizzeria ?
Normally pretty good. But seriously, How does a pizza restaurant run out of pizza dough in the middle of a busy dinner service? I got turned away tonight by some confused looking kid after waiting in line for over 20 min to order a pizza. Could they not anticipate the shortage sooner? Wasted time and thoroughly aggravating. Especially when there were 30 people in front of me chowing down on pizza who all apparently got what they wanted.
The pizza options are decent, and the food is actually decent... but the service was simply poor. 1 person working the oven, 4 other people just looking at me, looking at them.
I order this for lunch from this spot. I usually go to the one in Matthews. I didn't get to enjoy my lunch. I had to throw half of the pizza away. Will not order from this place again.
Food was great! DoorDash delivered it cold but my air fryer came to the rescue. I will be ordered again. Thanks for offering vegan cheese ?
