A nice slice of Spain in Charlotte. Tasty tapas selections. The Gambas were great and the pork pinchos were done just right. They also had a selection of wines, most by the bottle. Wish they offered more by the glass, especially of the Spanish variety. They also have live music on occasion. Wish they were open later than 9pm on Thursday, but with the lingering impacts from COVID, it’s understandable. Overall a nice place to visit and get your Spain fix.
I was trying to find the right place to get Paella, and thankfully one of my coworkers told me about this place! Is absolutely nice, they have quality plates, the service is 10 out of 10. Everything was perfect. I went there with my husband an daughter, the waiter Jesús, was super attentive, and always asked if we needed anything.
Had high expectations due to the restaurant always being busy and the great reviews but the food was honestly just all right. Pork was very soft and juicy but needed salt a swell as the beans and rice. Steak was also missing some flavor. Tres leches was the real winner here, my partner and I agreed it was the best dish of all 3. Pictures: Pork chimichurri, filet mignon and tres leeches.
We ordered the small paella and the pork with chimichurri sauce. The portions were definitely enough to satisfy two hungry adults with rather large appetites. The paella scored a 10 on presentation and around a 7-8 on flavor. It was slightly bland in my opinion, but still pretty good overall. I asked for some hot sauce with mine. The pork had more flavors going on. Great and fast service - will be back again to try their other dishes.
Amazing & quick service. All of the staff were very friendly & sat us immediately (even over the phone they said it was a 30 minute wait). Food came out very quick & was amazing (we got the paella). Will definitely be returning here for date night!
Excellent Mediterranean food and great service and drinks! Family owned restaurant, really worth it!
I had originally booked a reservation for 4 for Mothers Day, but ended up having 5 guests. The manager was very gracious and immediately accomodated our needs. The food was fantastic and the service was the best I've had in Charlotte in years.
I met for dinner with a customer. We had a drink at the bar first before moving to the table for dinner. I ordered gambas al ajillo as my appetizer and the meat paella for my main course. The food was very tasty. Couple of things about me: - I have been making paella at home for 30 years, for up to 35 people - I first learned in Mexico and later in Spain, how to perfect the art of paella I tend not to order paella in restaurants in the USA because they usually leave me disappointed. I ordered the meat paella becuse I have never heard of such a thing before. In all my trips to Spain I have never encountered a meat paella, and they never are rarely ever use chorizo, though I like to because that is what I picked up from my time in Mexico. Their paella came out in about 10 minutes. I cannot prep a paella in that amount of time so they clearly prepare several at a time, since it appears to be a popular dish. The flavor was very good and I finished it. The pan is about 7-8 inches in diameter and a generous portion for one person. They also have a large size for two people. If I had been dining with my wife I think we would have paired it with another entree and shared them both. I would return here on a future visit to Charlotte.
Food was fantastic and service is the best. We arrived early and were treated to a wine training with the Miro team. Their Spanish wine was the best and we ordered Osobuco for the first time and was delicious … coming back for sure!
Had the best server ever in Jesus. Superb knowledge of the menu and especially wine. Excellent Tappas menu. One star off because lamb chops were definitely over cooked and a bit tough. Pineapple upside cake is to die for. Highly recommend.
