Food was pretty good. Like the authentic feel of the restaurant just wish there was some music playing outside. I had the ribeye and it was pretty good the refried beans tho ? Check itnout
Best Mexican restaurant in Charlotte. Undiscovered gem. If you want the authentic experience, come here and give it a try. I've been eating here since at least 2005 and never had a bad experience. The flavor is amazing, some of the best Fajita and Tacos around. You will be coming back for more! A+++
I almost don’t want to review Miguel’s because I want it to stay amongst the now veerrryyy few hidden gems in Charlotte. But people are finding out how legit this place is. (Don’t raise your prices!).Wow. Yum. If Francisco is your server you’re in for a treat bc he is HILARIOUS. The food is great. The prices are great. The staff is great. I literally eat here weekly. Sometimes twice in a week. Don’t let the location and storefront fool you. This is a wonderful local place to support. I took my parents to Soul last time they visited. This time. MIGUEL’S. They loved it!Francisco, please get me some churros.
Great Mexican dive with a solid menu. Don’t get turned off by the look from the outside. This is a hidden gem. Good food and good prices.
Do NOT let let the outside look keep you from going in! It's small and casual on the inside, but the food and service is excellent! The margarita was one of the best I have ever had.
The front desk manager of my hotel recommended this place and when I drove up, I almost didn’t want to go in. It is the true definition of a “hole in the wall.” But, having grown up in Los Angeles, just a couple of hours from the border, I can definitely say that this is among one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve visited in the U.S. Enchiladas and quesadillas are fantastic because authentic Mexican cheese is used. Tortillas taste homemade and salsa is nice and spicy. The margaritas are perfectly blended and strong. Order a pitcher and take a group of friends. You won’t be disappointed!
My first time ordering from here today and it will be my last. I ordered 4 meals. When I went in to pick it up, i stood in front of the bar and waited patiently to be greeted. No greeting for about ten minutes. Finally the lady behind the bar asked me if I had a call in, I told her yes. She gave me my total, swiped my card and had me sign. Then she turned around and grabbed my bag and never said have a good day or anything. I still left a tip. I got home and realized something from my order was missing. I called back and let the lady know. I could literally hear her blowing on the other end of the phone and then she said, "So what is it you think you're missing? " Even after I told her and she hung up, I decided not to return. WORST experience. WORST customer service I've received in a long time.. Then to top it off,, our food was extremely distasteful. Very unhappy. So I will not be returning here. Pictures below were suppose to be sautéed veggies and spinach. We plucked through but threw it away because it looked old.
Pretty good Mexican restaurant. We arrived 5 minutes before closing time and they did t deny us the food. Extremely economical, quiet, calm and kind people. Food was served quick and was delicious. Whole heartedly thank this restaurant for giving us the food.
Waited 10 minutes to get water. Ordered quickly, but after 30 minutes we had no food, not even chips and salsa. We stood up at the table and tried to flag down waitstaff - they either ignored us or signalled that they would come over, but never did. We walked out, hungry. Not cool.
Good food. I had the Arroz con Pollo and it was quite good. The chicken was cooked well and not overdone/dry. The place on the outside is run down and it’s not the cleanest but the food makes up for it. The service was a bit slow as well but it was decent service. The special of the day enchiladas that my family got were well received by them as well.
