Absolutely disgusting compared to the central location! This is my first time at this restaurant I have also been at the one in Ballantyne Charlotte and both of these have horrible customer service or the food is disgusting! The only Midwood smokehouse I will ever support will be the one on Central Avenue! Regardless of how many times I hear them say they use the same recipes I know from experience that this is not true!
Midwood has always had great service and atmosphere. I was very impressed with the short wait times for both seating and food considering how busy the place was. It's great to see restaurants packed and bustling again after the pandemic.The food was absolutely delicious. The pulled pork is fresh, tender, and not overly moist. There is a multitude of sauces to choose from, all of which are tasty and offer enough variety to satisfy anyone's expectations.
Really enjoyed eating here! The service from the waitress was great. The Memphis ribs with sauce was very good and fulfilled my hunger! The proportion of food and the quality and taste of the food is worth what you pay for! The atmosphere was so relaxing that went spent a couple of hours here!
We had amazing time at this location. It was a Mother and Daughter Valentines date the food was delicious. Kelsie the manager was the sweetest best customer service from her and the other workers from the time we got their till we left. We had a long wait for our ride and she let my Mom and I inside to wait because it was cold and light rain. Thank you everyone at Brandywine location. We will be back.
I visited this restaurant because it was the top bbq spot on Trip Advisor in Charlotte. I ordered the ribs with the spicy barbecue sauce, hush puppies and banana pudding. EVERYTHING was divine - fresh and flavorful. the ribs were just slightly salty for my tast. Not too salty for me to finish the entire plate, but salty enough for me to give this review four stars instead of five. I will be back though! (Maybe the cook was heavy handed with the salt that day.)
I’d heard great things about this place and had to check it out. First of all, the brisket, ribs, wings, salmon and appetizers like pimento cheese fries, and bacon wrapped cheese stuffed jalapeños were incredible. I’ve traveled a lot and nowhere have I had better. Cozy atmosphere with great “service”! Midwood checks all the boxes! You will be delighted you visited.
Attention Texans. If you’re looking for bbq just as good as Texas this is the place!! It was outstanding. The only draw back was dry macaroni but everything else was on point. I’d even dare say it’s better than some Texas joints.
This place had delicious bbq food. Iam not a fan of bbq food my husband is, and for me not to be fan and say that the food was great is a lot to say. Yes is a really good bbq
So I have already been here twice in the past month I loved this place so much, and it's an hour drive from the house. My whole family raved over it after we left and I have kids from 7 to 14. So far everything we have tried has been fantastic, including appetizers and deserts. I love their BBQ sauces so much it's hard to decide which ones to use, and I usually switch it up while I'm eating. I'm going to say that you have to give Midwood Smokehouse a try, and I'm sure you will not regret it! My family and I have put it in our top 3 BBQ places, and we are still thinking it might be our #1. We just need to go a couple more times before making that call for sure. Enjoy your meal!
Absolutely exceptional!!! I purchased food from the Midwood Smokehouse in Park Rd Shopping Center for our company Christmas party. The food was ready at the time I needed it and the staff was very thorough in making sure I had all the items I needed. Everyone kept making comments about how good the food was!!My favorite items were the chopped BBQ, the brisket, collard greens and the banana pudding and pecan cobbler desserts. Definitely would HIGHLY recommend this place!
