Fast paced kitchen with amazing food creations. Super yummy. Make sure to try the sausage gravy and biscuits. Next time we’re trying the chicken wings.

The Staff were AMAZING. & the food was delicious!!

Delicious food and friendly service. They were hopping after the concert but we didn’t wait too long in line to get in and once in, it wasn’t too much of a wait for our food. If we are back in the area, will definitely eat here again.

This place is fantastic. They have a jam-packed menu full of American classics, and they serve breakfast all day and all night. If you find yourself with that group where someone asks "where do you want to eat," and the only response is , "I don't know/care," then go to the Midnight. There is something for everyone on the menu. Five of us went there, and we had Tammy as our waitress. She is the best; ask for her - no really, you should. She was friendly, helpful and steered me right toward the scratch-made mashed potatoes and gravy to go with my collard greens. The greens were tender, smoky and delicious. Everything we had was outstanding. Our orders include a Western omelet, a brunch burger, a full breakfast plate, a spaghetti dinner and a fried chicken plate. It all came to the table fresh, hot and super tasty. The atmosphere in the place is friendly with a bright and busy urban vibe. This is the place where you can talk and laugh out loud over a great meal. You should go - soon. You won't regret it.

Here for a conference and walked over from the Westin. On a Sunday morning there was a line out the door, mostly locals. The line moved very quickly. I had the Bubba, a whopping biscuit with scrambled eggs and sausage gravy. Got a couple of sides: the grits were creamy and delicious and the hash browns were crispy. Service was great, music and atmosphere were awesome. Will go again this week!

Very bad food experience. My order arrived cold. The "hamburger steak that I ordered was very dry, and I was not able to eat it. The food did not appear or taste fresh at all. This was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend Midnight Diner as a place to go.

Believe the hype! First of all, they are only closed for 90 minutes a day, so shame on you if you miss it! ? We started with the onion rings--spectacular! The shrimp and grits are the real deal. The spaghetti had PLENTY of sauce for the noodles, and the wings with French toast were a delightful coupling. Of course, I added hash browns All The Way, which were soooo satisfying. Our server was amazing and kept the coffee pouring. We went out of our way to try this spot and it was all on point!

My wife had fried eggs and hash browns. She enjoyed both. I had the short stack (three buttermilk pancakes, sausage patties, and scrambled eggs. The eggs and sausage were excellent. The pancakes for average. While our server was nice, none of the servers were moving like they had tables. So if you have someplace to be following breakfast, this is probably not the place for you. lol

This diner located in Uptown Charlotte is kind of a blast from the past. Comically situated at a busy intersection, this retro fitted diner gives exactly what you'd expect from a diner located in the middle of a city. Fast turnover mixed with southern comfort, our service was busy yet charming and attentive. The food wasn't spectacular but it also wasn't terrible, plenty of people were in and out of this establishment because they knew it'll give you exactly what your looking for ?. I'd probably check it out again if I'm back around.

First time here and we really enjoyed. We got Shrimp and Grits, The Bubba and 2 slices French toast. We almost finished everything.
