This was truly an incredible dining experience! The historic home is a treasure reflecting the past and the food, service, and ambience were outstanding. I have eaten a lot of rack of lamb and this was the best I have ever had!
You must absolutely eat here. Hands down the most delicious and memorable dining experience I have ever had.
Food was very good, service outstanding but not sure worth the price. Just as good other places in Charlotte for a lot less. Nice place to go once! Will not be back.
Surroundings and service are impeccable, the Som is knowledgeable and funny guy. We opted for the Prix Fixe with two starter courses and the optional wine pairing. The food was superb save for a rack of lamb that was chewy. I understand the policy of adding gratuity to a check but I don't like it. The overall experience was great but for nearly $500 we would like to see more entre choices.
Beautiful and super expensive. The house is amazing. So cool. I wish we would have gotten a tour. So much to look at. Food was really good. I've had better, but overall it was really good. Staff was super nice. Everyone there was great. Wesley was spot on with the wine choices. We did a 4 course with wine pairings. Great wine and hard to find. 3 of the 4 I had I can't find online to buy. Celebrating our 2 year anniversary and we would go back. They brought us champagne at the beginning to toast our special day. Sorbet before the entree to cleanse the pallet. My filet was perfect. She loved her artichoke soup. The deserts were great. Maybe once a year is all we could afford. We aren't rich. Dinner was close to $650 with tip. We tipped $100.Great experience. Happy Anniversary indeed!!
Celebrated our 10 years anniversary and we had a great time. The pace of the service was very timely. Definitely recommend you try.
Everything and everyone was exceptional. Noise level was non-existent. Great time and canât wait to get back.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary at McNinch House and it was perfect. They added some menu choices to accommodate my shellfish allergy, and they made our night feel very special. The food, the service and the setting were all amazing. My wife did the wine pairings with her meal and was very pleased with the whole experience (good wine and interesting background about the choices). It is expensive but exactly what we were looking for to celebrate a special occasion.
It’s a lovely dining experience in a beautiful Victorian style home. The food is not earth-shatteringly delicious but it’s good enough that when combined with nice wine, excellent service, and well-appointed surroundings that you’ll still have a wonderful evening.
Fantastic restaurant and highly recommended for business or any occasion.
