The food was really good. Came in town to visit and wanted to some Mexican food, best that I have had in a while. I will definitely be back. Kellita was our server and she was lovely, knew the menu very well and helped us decide what to eat.
My mother and I didn't enjoy our food, so we ended up not finishing. My brother enjoyed his birria pizza and fries, however, he said it was lacking something. Service was okay, the server kept forgetting things and mixing up stuff. Parking lot can get cramped.
Was in Charlotte for the day. Saw best places to eat on TicTok and decided for tacos. These were the best favorable tacos every. Great place. Great service. Must try.
Everything I've had at Maria's is so tasty and flavorful. I started with chimichanga. It was fried well, not greasy. I then had a birria. The beef and broth were fabulous. I used leftover broth to cook rice. Anyway, the final dish I really enjoyed is chori pollo with chicken, sausage and cheese.
I found out about this place on Instagram and decided to try it. I had the birria ramen, shrimp birria and tres leches cake. I've never had tres leches cake that had cinnamon and that much whip cream on it. It was delicious nonetheless. The service was great, it was full. They need a bigger parking space
Worst experience from the start. First the menu to add or take things off is lacking you can't choose no source cream or quacamole and then you can see the disaster of food I was given... nearly unedible. I will never order or step foot here againShame too normally the food is good.
Went in and place was not busy. They waited on me right away. We ordered food and it came right away. I had the Berrian tacos and they were hot, crunchy and packed full of meat and cheese. The dip was good as well. The staff was very nice and attentive. The meal was also very affordable.
Try out the Birria! The meat is super tender and flavorful. The Beef dipping sauce is divine. My waitress was very attentive. I can't wait to come back for more Birria! ❤⭐❤
We have seen a lot of TikTok's about Maria's so we decided to try it for ourselves. It had both good and bad dishes. The birria tacos were the best thing that we had. The meat was so tender it just fell apart and the dip was excellent. The chicken nachos were good and way too much for one person. The steak and shrimp tacos were above average. We did get some sort of mixed dish with a taco, tostada, cheese enchilada and something else that was not very good at all. The refried beans were top notch and the salsa was way better than your average Mexican restaurant. If you go, stick with anything birria and you will be OK.
My partner really enjoyed the food, but I just thought it was OK. They left something out of our order so i just want to mention to always check your food before you leave, I'm sure they would have corrected the missing food if we noticed. The server was very nice even though they seemed shortstaffed. They had a very interesting menu I would go back to try something else.
