First I would like to say this, I think for being a locally owned franchise it’s fine. But a couple things I noticed, most of the workers seem pretty young so I’ll definitely give a pass, very unwelcoming environment from the start and it is very stressful to order and I noticed a lot of the people around me were feeling the same. I also have an allergy to walnuts and I watched the girl almost dip the walnut scoop into the gummy bears but put it down because the other girl put the gummy bear scoop back. I didn’t say anything which is definitely on me I should have asked her to remake it but I felt bad because she seemed to just not want to be there anyway. The icecream the past few times I’ve had it has been extremely soupy and melted and both times they have mixed my mix ins in a (for lack of better words) limp slapping manner. Which is totally fine in the grand scheme of things just an observation. The taste is great and the location is awesome just a couple of things I’ve noticed that make me hesitant to return.
Make sure to get there before 9:50pm; hours online claim they close at “10pm” but my husband and I pulled up at 9:50pm on Wed 5/11 to find another couple outside of the restaurant confused as well - hoping they’d open back up (considering it wasn’t 10pm yet). Lights were off, doors locked, employees were visible though & saw us, they just did not care to open up. We ended up at Jenni’s last night instead, since they are open until 11. It appears to me you lost at least 4 sales at 9:50 bc you were closed before 10pm :/
Came in for ice cream asked for a smalll somehow got a super value size I think. Cheesecake ice cream had very little flavor was kinda disappointed. Husband got banana pudding and it was really good and had the correct size! Don’t know if I would come back….
It's been hit or miss lately. Usually the experience is great and the container is full if not overflowing with ice cream usually the employees do a great job making sure there is enough of a flavor I ask for before beginning to scoop it out. There seems to be a few newer employees who either aren't trained properly or who just don't care enough to try.
Loved Marble Slab Creamery in Charlotte. They had an amazing selection of ice creamand over 20 toppings to mix in and different waffle cones and cups. They also had a bunch of different fresh baked cookies. Will def go back!
Best ice cream I've had in a long time! The staff was super friendly, and the place is very clean. I also loved the little model cakes they set out to show what they can do! Awesome business!
Super delicious with a variety of ice cream flavors.i to atleast two times a week. My favorite is the banana pudding ice cream, with yellow cake, graham cracker crumbs and strawberry sauce mixed in.. literally the best ever. Check them out and sign up for their rewards program.
Everything seemed very stressful, prices aren’t clearly listed anywhere in the store, took almost 30 minutes to get a normal ice cream with mix in and they were out of a lot of stuff. Even after they mixed my ice cream with the toppings left I felt like half the stuff was still sitting on the marble and not in the cup. Employees seemed like nice people but there was zero discussion asking the customers how they were or anything along those lines, was stressfully quiet need some music or something in there. After being a long time novas customer I don’t see myself coming back here again. Villanis and two scoops are much better. Also if you have peanut allergies, there didn’t seem to be caution taken between peanut items and non peanut items.
Every time I’ve visited this place it’s been super disappointing. Cookies are stale and cold, ice cream just takes like a watered down version of cold stone. Service is also super slow for no reason. You’re better off going to two scoops or villani’s and supporting local businesses.
My Snicker Milkshake was great... Wife thought the ice cream was good but what happened with cookie sundie with hot fudge?
