I was disappointed with this place after reading so many good reviews. They over season all their food with TOO MUCH PEPPER, even for dishes that aren't supposed to be spicy. I went with another person. I had the Farmer Biscuit and they had Eggs Traordinary Risky Biscuit. The Risky was good, just needed less pepper. On the Farmer, the batter on the fried chicken was too peppery, and the chicken was lukewarm- I assume they precook the chicken breast or purchase them precooked? The bacon was not well cooked, the sandwich was slathered in COLD apple butter; the apple butter should have been served at room temperature, IMO. I just did not like it, would not recommend it.We also did a side of grits which were good, and fried green tomatoes, again too much pepper. We got their Maple street coffee which was very strong and bitter.Service wise, they are struggling like many other businesses.They had a skeletal crew and service was very slow and somewhat disorganized- it took a long time for orders to be prepared.I thought the time was due to cooking of the chicken but it did not seem freshly cooked when I got it.This place is not cheap, with tip we paid about $41 and I can't say it was worth it. IMO, a place like Flying Biscuit would be a better option to this place. I don't see myself returning here.
I order DoorDash from here sometimes and it’s always excellent. I recommend the Iced maple latte with almond milk. Today they sent me something extra in my order and it was so delicious. Definitely give them a try!
Highly recommend the biscuit with chicken and Goat cheese! It was stellar. The atmosphere is a little chaotic. You order at a counter and seat yourself. We were in on a busy day and there was one staff member cleaning tables, but I actually didn't see her wipe any tables... that was my only complaint. The coffee and food was enough to make me wanna go back.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is very clean. The biscuits are just okay though. For the same price you can get 2-3 fastfood biscuits. Sure, there not as good, but they're not that much worse.I didn't get to try the wafffles, but they looked great.I don't think I'll be back.
Online ordering says the earliest I can pickup is tomorrow. So I called in to place an order.Someone answered and said they don’t take call in orders on the weekend, but I can place an order online…Well, I can’t place an order online because the website will not accept it.I asked if I could just order through her since we are literally talking on the phone right now… and she said “We don’t take call in orders on the weekend, you have to order online or come into the store.”In an age where customer service is paramount, how is this an acceptable business practice? I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Good riddance.
Service was a little slow, but the staff was very friendly. Had the chicken and waffles it was okay not something I would order again. Thought the coffee was very good.
What an awesome experience. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.Can you say name that tune? They don't do names for your order. They want to know your favorite song or artist. That's a nice personal touch. I got the John Mayer special.

You simply cannot go wrong: The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. All the staff members were great, very friendly. I can’t say enough great things about how tasty each part of our meal was.
