We went on a weekday and it was not busy at all. We started with tomato Sorbet (soup). It was okay noting special about it. Had a vegetable curry, Veg biriyani and Roti. Curry was called paneer Kadhai, also not special. I felt the quantity was also slightly less for the price you paid, it came with plain rice. I will not recommend Veg. Biriyani, tasted more like veg. pulao. I think seasoning was not done right. Raita that came with Biriyani was super watery and seemed a little stale. Overall experience was 3/5.
This is my comfort food and this place never misses.I love trying out different seafood or vegetarian options here. They are so flavorful, fresh, and distinctive with the dishes, that I'm unafraid to try something I've never heard of each time I order here.If you like okra, the Bhindi Masala is so good.I always get the Peshawari Kulcha to have for breakfast with tea the next day.
Best Indian restaurant in Charlotte! We have been coming to this restaurant for years. it never fails and the food has always been consistently great. We almost always get the Shrimp Curry and the Chicken Tikka Masala and it never disappoints! Highly recommended and great pricing.
Absolutely would NOT recommend. Just visited this location after seeing good reviews and was thoroughly disappointed. Do not order the mixed tandoori entree if interested, just order the appetizer plate. We ordered both and the entree was the exact same amount of food as the app, and when we mentioned the entree included fish and shrimp, the waiter pointed at the SINGLE PIECE OF SHRIMP on the plate and said it's right their ma'am. When we asked if that's correct there's only one piece of shrimp and no fish the waiter responded with "That's how it comes ma'am" and walked away. This place is truly a waste of money if looking for an Indian restaurant, they are only after money and do not serve well.
Food was great at Maharani. Chilli shrimp was outstanding, so was the tandoori roti. I enjoyed the refreshing Taj Mahal beer. But there was no outdoor seating. I asked the owner, he said the mall owner would not allow it even if the restaurant owner is willing to pay and get the license. What a pity! But we loved the food, ambiance and service.
I had the lamb mango with meat samosa and garlic naan. The food was delicious, however, I told them I wanted it spicy but didn't get that. They gave me the spice on the side.
I bought samosa and bariyani. Somosa was pre fried and they fry again give it to me and they mix sause with white rice make so called bariyani. it taste so bad i dumped it not suggested at all.
Delicious and plenty of vegetarian options. The garlic naan is perfect. If you order online expect to wait, uber eats orders seem to take priority.
I scheduled a pick up for 9:45pm after a long travel day but my flight got delayed so I wouldn’t get there until the restaurant closed, but they were able to accommodate me and still give me the food I ordered! So nice and helpful and the food is amazing too. The butter chicken is the best ?
Worst experience.. worst service!!! The owner was not bothered to listen to the feedback. The non veg platter was bland. The quantity was so less. It was a joke on the name of platter.. the onion and capsicum was not even sautéed properly… chicken was tasting as boiled… never visiting again
