Awesome place to spend time in the evening, especially after Carowinds. Who doesn’t love dogs and beer? Great, welcoming atmosphere. Good selection of alcohol and they have drafts too! Friendly staff focused on dog safety, but also want to make sure their customers are having a great time!

First time we go to this place after some friends recommended it and we really enjoyed it. We went on Tuesday to take advantage to the free bath and a drink for 15 bucks. Cherry came out clean and happy, which means that she was taken care well inside. The food truck that was parked right next to the place was very nice, the Argentinian cook was very friendly and cooks delicious. My only concern is if an aggressive dog comes in, all dogs are off leash so a fight may escalate quickly. At least in this visit all dogs were well behaved

I came to the Steele Creek location at around 6:00 on 4/8 and left immediately after attempting to sign in, but rudely being judged right in front of my face. The girl with the rainbow hair and another staff member behind the counter started saying rude statements about the fact that we didn’t know how to sign in. Sorry your signs make no sense and there’s no one helping. Unfortunate because Leslie was super nice the first time we came. The experience definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and we will be passing the message on to others seeking a welcoming place to spend your money and time. Some of the staff have zero understanding of decent customer service or just genuine social skills.

My dog has social anxiety around other dogs but the more I go to this place, the more comfortable he becomes! Usually, he won't leave my side and will just sit on the table with me watching the dogs play but this time, he actually went off very briefly and sniffed around. On another note, the cocktail drinks are always delicious. Would definitely be back!

This place is pretty awesome... bring your dog and you get to drink beer and actually enjoy the time you're their. The dogs all play and you don't feel bothered much, though be sure to keep an eye where they go to the bathroom as there is an area that is marked for it, you may need to pick up after them. Also, be sure your dog is spay/neutered, this a must. There is no entrance fee, you just need to sign in, and they also have an app you can use at your table. Lots of space and outdoor tables, friendly staff, and decent beer selection (although stouts and porters are slacking usually).

I just recently moved here from out of state. Lucky Dog has been a great place for socializing my dog and Socializing ME :) We love Lucky Dog and their staff. It is so refreshing to see smiling faces every time you walk in the door. Kayla the bartender is just a gem. And Sydney the manager...I don't know what that place would do with out her! Thank you Lucky Dog for providing an awesome place for people to hang out with their dogs.

There are no words for the love I have for this facility and all of the staff that work here. The care and attention that is given is like nothing you will find in the area. They were calling my dog by her name after only one visit (which by the way, is free- first visit). They post pictures during the day, throw parties on holidays and truly are compassionate in the job they do. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Took my dogs to board there about a month ago. My one small dog is known to be a grazer so I wasn’t really concerned when I got bags of food back from a five day board. My other dog, although anxious at times, has a fight for a food personality and although extremely anxious, this has never kept her from eating at all. They tried to tell me that was the reason (anxiety) why she came back with four bags of food. This is complete bull. I highly doubt that even let her out on a regular basis. I asked them to limit but not completely keep her from going outside because she has a hip issue. These folks didn’t post pictures of her until I brought it up asking them why I hadn’t seen photos of her outside for 3 days, then all of a sudden there were pictures of her outside. Seems a little fishy to me. I feel like I wasted over $300 for my dogs to get subpar care. I’ll trust my vet to board them next time. At least I know and trust them and I know they will be taken out and taken care of, better than they were here. Trust your vet over these young people who don’t care. Customer service from the manager was awful as well when I complained. She never even apologized for the issues that I had about this place, but just continued to say her staff ‘did what they were supposed to do’ and it was my dog’s fault she didn’t eat. I don’t think so…

I do not recommend them for boarding services. My GSD came back from a five day board with 4 bags of food left. When calling to inquire, I was told the food that was put down was left there for a day for her to eat. Although I have a super anxious dog, she also exhibits fight for food syndrome. She will 100% ALWAYS eat, no matter what or how nervous she is. I was given the excuse she was too nervous to eat. I do not believe them. I will be boarding my dogs with my vet from now on, although the cost will be more, at least I know they will be 100% taken care of from trust worthy individuals. Also, I find it to be too much of a coincidence that when I asked why there weren’t any pictures posted of my GSD outside the entire time being boarded, all of a sudden there were pictures of her interacting outside ONLY after I asked about where she was when I didn’t see her outside playing. That’s a little too coincidental for me.

Oh gosh we have had great experiences with both boarding and daycare at lucky dog. We recently used the grooming services and that was great as well. I only wish that this guy would come home a little more tired haha
