We had fried chicken, baked chicken, candied yams, cabbage, rice/gravy and black eyed peas. The food was well seasoned and not salty. The cornbread reminds me of a buttermilk taste, but isn't sweet. Usually I don't go for cornbread without sugar but this was good. The customer service was very good and the service was fast. The portions are on the smaller side but enough to be happy with. Emphasis again on the kind service/warm welcome
Every visit to Londa’s Place is a delight! No matter the staffing- we are always greeted warmly, served promptly, and sent off with kind words that make us want to come back sooner than later. The soul food here continues to please our palates! From the entrees to desserts- the homemade with love taste and quality make each of Londa’s culinary experiences magnificent!

Excellent soul food. Worth the Uber ride! My husband had the perch dinner and I had the veggie plate and peach cobbler. He is a very picky eater but had nothing but rave reviews about the food . Excellent food and customer service .
We had a wonderful experience here. I was craving soul food on our road trip and we found this place. We were going to call in our order but decided to just wait until we got there. I recommend calling first and will do that next time. The wait is a little long and they did not have the top two dishes that I was hoping for…..which was fine because what we ended up getting was very good!The woman at the front was so nice and sweet as she greeted every single person that walked through the door with a smile. She remembered every person’s name and greeted what I assume were regulars by their name as soon as they walked in the door. She saw my husband and I had our fraternity/sorority gear on and talked about how she has family in the same org and also alum from the college my daughter had just toured. I was so pleased with her pleasant service that I asked her name because I knew I would be posting a review…to my surprise it was the Owner Londa!Everything from there was great. The staff were all very kind. When my husband realized he had ordered something wrong Londa gave him what he wanted without even charging him even though it was his fault. All of the food was pretty good. We ordered 8 different plates so we could try some of everything.We even went back and got a little extra to take for the road because we knew it was a long ride.It’s a long way from us but we may take the trip back up there just for a great dinner.
I drove here from Rock Hill because of the reviews & I was not let down! It is rare that I enjoy every single part of my meal, but literally everything was cooked & seasoned perfectly. Londa was extremely warm & welcoming & so was the majority of the staff. I will definitely return! Literally everything was good, but that sweet potato cobbler & banana pudding cheesecake touched my soul!!!
I came across Londa's Place online around 3am as I was looking for somewhere good to eat bc I was going to Charlotte for an event. I was so excited to try it that I couldn't sleep, lol. Friendly customer service from the time I walked through the door til the time I left back out. The food is delicious southern cooking with flavor! Oh, and don't forget to get some Banana Pudding! I'll be recommending Londa's to friends/family and will definitely be going back ?
Popular down home cooking. Call your order in or you will wait in line but still worth the wait. The food is really good. Nothing like it in this area.
Excellent experience! It was me and my wife’s first time there and we enjoyed everything! We were greeted with warmness and care. Top notch customer service. And the food was delicious! We will definitely be back!
