Usually a very solid brunch spot. Latest visit was spotty. One order of two was the wrong item. And both items were a little sub par relative to past visits. Some service was also lacking due to lack of attention from staff having personal conversations.
Good was very good, fast, and hot. The only "issue" I had was that my pancakes were kind of dry though I'm chalking this up to a fluke. They (and everything) tasted great. It would be nice if they expand into Charlotte
Excellent food! First time visiting and we were very pleased. Only drawback: can't serve alcohol before 10am. They offer mimosas, but not before 10! Bummer! Eggs were cooked perfectly, sausage was delicious, pancakes were fluffy and light, potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. Coffee is very good. Overall, it was a great experience.
Took my sister and godson there. We are from VA and came down for a wedding. We like to eat at local spots when we travel and my sister found this restaurant. When we got there we waited at the entrance for several minutes and were never acknowledged. When I entered the dining area a waitress held up a finger and told me to wait a min. Business was steady but certainly not overwhelming and many areas were open. We waited another 5min and still no acknowledgment. We decided that apparently our money wasn't good there and found another local eatery that was much more welcoming.
So I ordered the crunchy French Toast and it tasted fine, bland though, but there are some things that could use improvement. The side of Apple I got tasted like they were fried on a dirty griddle and I got 4 tiny little pieces in a large bowl. Their syrup is more water than syrup and just barely gave me enough powder sugar to cover one toast. The only thing worth it’s money was the Mamosa. I am definitely not returning to this location.
Decent; nothing great but not completely awful either. Very basic
This place was really great and atmosphere! Bacon was so crispy and cheese grits were perfect ?
I love the food here and have always had great service. I will say, if you're going to have a couple of mimosas, you might as well get the flight with the different juices.. I wasn't aware they had that option and could have spent less for the same amount. 10/10 recommend!!
I really enjoyed the service at this place. We were a party of 15. Went there to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were seated in a private room and the server was wonderful! She got all the orders right and came to check on us very frequently. The food was delicious and portions weren’t bad either. It’s a nice local spot!
What I have shown is all al la carte and is made up of the chicken tenders (from their chicken and waffles entree) two fried eggs, and their French toast. The place was crowded, I went this Saturday morning, so I sat at the bar for quick service. The wait for the food was manageable but I wasn't impressed with the quality. I can never understand how a packed restaurant produced anything less than piping hot food. The taste was not remarkable but it wouldn't stop me from going back in a pinch. See photos below.
